INO Contributers

Vera SweeneyCEO and Founder:

Yes, I desperately need to get a professional picture taken of me. That’s my husband Bill – and although he doesn’t technically write for the site – he does help out with the business side of it all. Mini shout out. Ok, now onto my bio.

I am a work-at-home mom to two wonderful children (Natalie, 6 and Liam, 4). This website started as a hobby and has since turned into a full time gig. I love every second of every hour I spend working on the site and can’t get enough of the Hollywood juice.

Born in Manhattan, raised in Queens and now currently living on Long Island (hey – they have grass out here), because of this site I am able to have a creative outlet and tuck my kids in for their afternoon nap. Wouldn’t want it any other way.

Tracee Washington – Celebrity Gossip and Entertainment Editor:

My name is Tracee, and I’m a “Transplanted Atlantan” by way of the midwest, so I traded in cold, gray winters for sweltering summers. I’d say I broke even. I spent many years training to be a mental health professional and am in the process of becoming licensed. I also do life coaching. Before choosing psychology, I considered a career in journalism, so writing for INO is like exploring the path not taken. In my spare time I enjoy reading, watching movies and TV, cooking, wine tasting, and, of course, reading celebrity gossip (although I am not obsessed!).

Melanie Manning Fashion Contributor and Entertainment Editor:

My interest in Fashion started at a very young age. My mom used to tell me that when I’d come home from kindergarden, I could never remembered what was taught, but I always remembered what outfits my classmates had on, down to the last detail.

My family and I moved to Fiji from the US when I was 12, which was quite the cultural shock for a budding fashionista. Gone were the days of strip malls and department stores. I had no choice but to embrace my situation and take advantage of the many, yet unfamiliar, resources available to me. Flipping through magazines for ideas, armed with scissors and a sewing machine, I cut, glued and sewed my way to a better wardrobe. Since then, I have been making uniqiue, one-of-a-kind creations ever since.

I currently live in Southern California and spend my free time sketching and sewing.

Tabitha St. BernardFashion and Event Coverage:

Fashion provides inspiration for every aspect of my life, which isn’t always a good thing but its always fun. I study fashion design at FIT and when I’m not rushing to class with armfuls of paper and fabric, I can be found behind my sewing machine or at your local park, sketching and painting landscapes, with people in them who wear my designs, of course. I’m also a major tree-hugger because what’s fashion without a world? I’m currently engaged in a love affair with New York City, my home for the past 8 years. Everyday NY fashion fuels my creativity and I feel super blessed that I can get inspired just by stepping out of my apartment. Valuing every day, mindfully, and loving my loves is all I’m about, really. That and Rihanna’s daily outfits.
