Britney Spears' Father Is Now A Full Time Employee

Britney Spears' father has officially quit his job as a caterer to become a full time employee for his daughter. He is now the conservator of the star’s legal and financial affairs and gets paid $2,500 a week to do so. Jamie also received $10,000 for the first month on the job - signing bonus?
I can say all I want, but Britney's life has gotten better since her father stepped in. She's reclaimed more time with her sons and seems to have her head back on straight. So that man is worth every penny.

Still cannot stand her, however, its nice to see her father is bringing her back from the crazy. I have to admit though, I miss her pink wigs and british accents...
I find it disgraceful that she has to pay her father to help her out of trouble, aren't parents there to help because they love their children????????????
Good for him. I am all for helping your adult children out but not at the expense losing everything you own and have worked hard for all these years while doing it. Britney wouldn't have come this far if her dad had to go out and work as well. She would have got herself into trouble while he was at work. So it is good she has the money to do this. Your bills don't just magically stop coming.
approx. avg monthly gross would be 10833.33, so not a bonus
Seems to work for both of them. Her Dad has to support himself also, and he seems to be doing an excellent job with Brittany.
i still like her, i can't help it. she's made mistakes... so have i.
I think its kinda weird that her dad is on her payroll. BUT he does have to pay for his own bills too. And if you consider the millions (that she didn't flush down the toilet) she has and is worth. It's probably not that bad. Just seems so weird that you're paying your dad to help you get your life back together. When isn't that what parents are suppose to do? Weird...
What? Yes, parents should help you get your your life back together, and love and support you, but we are not talking a CHILD here. She should be thankful that her father is able and willing to do this. And yes, he has to have an income, so why not pay someone you love and trust, rather than some agent???

It's sort of like trying to stop the Titantic from sinking. I think she's done serious damage to her career. I never thought she was that good of a singer. Certainly not a strong singer. But hey, if she gets her life back on track, good for her.
I don't understand the criticism of her father for being on her payroll. He had a successful catering business in L.A. and basically had to give it all up to help and manage her. His bills and his home didn't magically disappear. Are people's memories so short that they don't remember how quickly the family intervention came about? He is probably the only person whom she can trust to manage her great wealth and her. He has proven to be a good investment and she is an adult who apparently has a mental disease and needs someone who loves and cares for her to help her manage her life. It's not that unusual under the circumstances and she's blessed that she can afford it.

She's an adult. Part of being a good parent is letting go and allowing your ADULT children to make their own mistakes.I think that's exactly what her parents did, and then realizing she was sick, stepped in.

Kid grows up, screws up a little bit...I come back into the picture and get paid to do what I should have done when the kid was a kid. Jamie Spears is freakin' brilliant! 2,500.00 a week seems like a lot, but i bet at the end of week 1 i would expect a raise. she's off the hook.
Jamie is the only thing keep Britney from going off the rails again. She needs him.
According to everything I have read, Britney has been diagnosed with Bi-polar disorder. There is nothing you can do as a parent to stop that, except recognize that something is wrong and try to get her help. That is what her parents seem to be doing. I commend them for that.
