Beyonce To Do New Bond Song

After Amy Winehouse reportedly dropped out of her commitment to sing the Bond theme song, the producers had to scramble and find someone new to replace her. Lucky for them, Beyonce was available and if negotiations go well she'll be ready to start working!
Beyonce is in talks with Quantum of Solace producers about performing a new track written by Amanda Ghost and collaborating with legendary Bond composer John Barry.
While I'm a little disappointed that Amy isn't doing the song, because I really love her voice, I'll admit that Beyonce can get me moving. :) Who would you rather hear sing the soundtrack?

I think Amy would have been an awesome change of pace, but I also dont think she should be getting work in her state of health. I'm just not a big fan of Beyonce's anymore...Her songs get old to me QUICK. XoXo <3 Mama Mo
Beyonce! Giving Amy money and opportunities that she does not deserve will not help her get better. She should not be associated with any serious project like a James Bond film. Beyonce takes her career seriously and deserves the honor, she'll do a good job.
I prefer Amy's voice and I think her style is more suited when I think Bond. Beyonce's voice can be very whiny and pitchy at times. However B is a professional and will pump out something that I am sure will be a hit.
I'm sorry -- and I know this is going to sound judgmental and a little conservative -- but I just don't think it's all that cool how some scraggly-ass British crackhead has gotten away with SO much rampant and dangerous drug use directly in front of the media. I'm glad she's being held accountable for it, finally. Screw her. And screw Doherty, too. So awesome that kids have sweet role models like that duo to emulate! Oh, and I love Beyonce's music. It's one of my darkest guilty pleasures -- especially the songs where she starts name-dropping designer labels and talking about her weave and stuff. She's a professional. She'll deliver something interesting, at least.
I like Amy's voice and I think she would have done a better job, but I agree that she just isn't up to it, she needs to get better. I just don't like Beyonce anymore

Oh no! Beyonce is not someone I think of when I think "James Bond theme song." I was looking forward to an Amy Winehouse song.
ugh. not beyonce. anyone but beyonce. i can't stand her. they should have Duffy do the theme song. from the song being played on the radio, she sounds a lil like amy winehouse. (oh and i agree that supporting a crackhead like amy is just disgusting. i'm glad she's not doing it.)

I much prefer Amy's edge and voice over Beyonce, I am so over her, she has just played herself out!! But with Amy's mental state she should not be rewarded for being yet another celeb. with a drug problem.
I'm surprise that they still doing movies about that at all.... can they get another idea??? But in any case i'll prefer amy's because her voice (i think) it's more appropiate for THAT theme.

I don´t like either of them. And I actually prefer a male singer, I thought that the choice of Chris Cornell for Casino Royale was brilliant and the song was amazing. I think I like male singers for this kind of film becasue there were always female singers in the title song. Chris Cornell really brought an edgy, rock and roll sound to the theme song, it wasn´t your typical, sort of ballad Bond song, with heavy beats that all the previous female singer had sung, e.g: Tina Turner, Madonna, Sheryl Crow, Garbage, Carly Simon..... Because of the nature of Daniel Craig´s new Bond, tougher and grittier, the sound should go along with this. I don´t think Beyonce would be a wise choice. I´m going to love the film anyway!!!!

This is depressing news. I really hope it is not true. Beyonce stinks. At least Winehouse has real talent - although she is a crackhead. But comeon! Beyonce? She's not someone I would classify as the new James Bond sophistication and mystique. I'm sorry but when she speaks, she sounds dumb. She needs to go back to school and learn to speak.

Heck, are there any good female singers around today under 40? I don't really like any of them. I'm an old school - Gladys Knight, Natalie Cole, ect. fan. What about Chaka Khan? She had the good grace to release a new album so she is still in the business. She could do a good Bond song.
na na na, fur and weaves.... I want Take That to do it. they did a brill job on stardust!
i think beyonce is dumb to think people wont find out when she is pregnant she is always in the spotlight
