Natalie Portman At The amFAR's Cinema Against Aids Event

Wow! Natalie Portman looked gorgeous as she arrived to the amFAR Cinema Against Aids Event in Cannes yesterday. That dress is very different, but in a gorgeous lovely way. What do you think of the whole thing?

I think it's gorgeous and dramatic. I would have chosen different shoes, though. SOmething about the black shoes doesn't seem right w/ the dress. She's so beautiful!

I think she's very gorgeous. However, the dress is too big for her tiny frame. The top part of the dress needs to be taken in some. The bottom part of the dress too overwhelming for her short fantastic legs.

She is a beautiful girl but there is a little too much dress for too little of a body. I noticed that this seems to be a common theme this year at Cannes.

I kinda like the bottom of the dress, the top not so much, particularly the things on the side of the top seem a bit strange to me. I also think the dress is too big for her frame, as mentioned above.

Since she is anorexic and it runs in her family; she wears non fitted clothes to hide her weight gain when she should be proud of it. When she is total anorexic then she wears tight fitted clothes that show her anorexic problem.
I think she keeps wearing all these poofy dresses to cover up the fact that she is looking way too skinny these days. Can we say eating disorder???
That's the way rumors get started. I've never heard her name associated with having an eating disorder. And I've never seen her weight fluctuate AT ALL. She has never looked ill or emaciated. What are you talking about??

stunning absolutely stunning. She's extremely beautiful and I don't think her dress is too big on her. You need someone with small frame to make that dress work. Someone who is bigger will not be able to pull that off b/c it will only make them look huge.

Very pretty dress. From waist up it looks great on her. From waist down I think it will look better on someone with longer, super sexy legs like you see in razor/hair remover commercials. I do not like the color of her shoes. Would prefer silver color and slightly different design sandal. Vamp is too busy, I d go with a light platform. This is really for a model or a woman who can really fill out this dress. It is not for a skinny girl.
I agree that the black sandals are not as complimentary to the outfit as another color would be. I think gold pumps would look great. Maybe a darker color lipstick. Otherwise, she is absolutely flawless.
The dress is different. I like it, but it totally swamps Ms Portman's very thin frame. The bodice is not shown off to full effect because she has nothing to fill it. It looks too large and shapeless. The dress is suited to a woman with a fuller figure. As for the choice of shoes...
She looks like she should be on top on a wedding cake : )
The black shoes work in that they match her makeup and in a strange way: the sign behind her...She looks absolutely gorgeous.
