French TV Crew Broke Into Madonna's Hotel Room And Filmed It!

OH MY GOODNESS! During Madonna's stay at the Carlton Intercontinental Hotel in Cannes, a TV crew managed their way into her hotel room and recorded her suite. The footage aired on a French network and showed special gym equipment Madonna requested as well as bottles of purified water. Can you imagine?! How on EARTH did they get in? Was the hotel was somehow involved?
According to French newspaper Le Parisien, Madonna was so angry with the hotel staff, she refused to pay the $90,000 bill.
OMG I would be p!ssed as well! That's a total violation of your privacy. Shame on them for doing that.
I hope she does a lot more than just refuse to pay the bill! What sort of reaction did they really expect?!
Good for her! She absolutely should not pay the bill. The hotel earned at least $90,000 from the free publicity they are receiving.

Good! That is a frigin crime! They will be lucky if they get away with just comping the bill for her. The least they can do.
This is unbelieveable, not to mention scary. It makes me wonder if they could be charged with something like breaking an entering. Is a hotel a public space so they couldn't be charged? That would be a good thing to know for people that travel.
Actually, they filmed prior her arrival into the Carlton. They showed the suite she was staying in, the gym equipment. They showed also the balcony where a worker was gluing the windows with sort of black sheets so it would be impossible to take picture for the paparrazi from outside. It seemed to me that they were authorized by the Carlon's crew to film in there. It's pretty weird because Madonna was interview the next day by the channel who made the intrusion ... Interviewed just after the projection of her documentary "I am because we are" by them it's quite unbelieveable. I thought she would have refused if she had knew it. Anyway, I would have been **** as well !

If this is true I think she did the correct thing. Who's to say that hidden cameras and sound recording devices were not left behind. Would you want your private conversations with your spouse possibly aired or, your private physical actions with them publicised for the entire world:?. Celebrity or not, that would be a serious violation of anyones' privacy.
I don't blame her if it is true. What a violation of her privacy! Some "news" agencies are just ruthless.
It was before she came in the hotel, that the TV came, and it was fun as she seems to be pretty crazy this lady. She wanted the room complelty in the dark, no windows on the sea, it had to be covered with dark paper... And she wanted the bed room to be very very hot. And a lot of gym stuff, just for 2 days... She was hopping to meet her ex husband, but he does not care anymore about her. And Guy wants to divorce. So she was just in a bad mood. She is rich, famous, but a very lonely lady.
It sounds like there's more behind this than standard Breaking and Entering. I love her look here. She does have kind of a wonky stance in the pic but she looks stunning.
On one hand, you have strangers in your hotel room every day, the cleaning people. On the other hand, it is wrong to have your room photographed and displayed for the world to see. I'd hate anyone to see my dirty laungry. So I agree Madge's privacy was violated. After all, it's not like she's published books with pictures or video's of herself naked or engaging in compromising positions has she? I mean come on now. Actually it is wrong to let the media violate a persons privacy, no matter how absurd their private or public life has been.
I wouldnt pay either. Save the Pandas!
They did that before she came in the hotel it's not a big deal she should pay.
lol this show is amazing, i love "le petit journal", there really is no big deal it was before madonna arrived, they showed that she had two treadmills (if that's the word) and they added "one for each foot" :p they showed the bottles of water, the room had to be really hot, ... so we often see that stuff on tv when there are show abt celebs ! they had another thing in their show, they asked celebrities they room number in the hotels, just to see if people would give it, for fun, some french stars did, most of the american people laughed, some were ****, and one american actor (can't remember which one) laughed, called his wife, and then said "meet me at the port tonight, midnight" Finally one has sense of humour :p kidding
That's terrible! She could have had personal things in there, and even if she didn't, you can't just go through someone's hotel room! She's right for not paying the bill. Even if it was before she actually got settled into the room, things were set up for her. I don't think it was appropriate to film her room, unless she gave them permission. I know that when you become famous, of course you're not going to have a lot of privacy, but this is just a total violation of privacy. In my opinion, I think the media and paparazzi have gotten worse over the years, in terms of not giving celebrities ANY privacy at all.

Good for her, I'd be **** off as well. At least now she can take the money she saved on the hotel bill to buy a new dress. The one she wore is just plain hideous.
