AMAZING! No spoilers here I promise. Just a "GO AND SEE THIS MOVIE". Click on the continue reading link below to read about the Sex and the City US premiere.

It was so UNREAL. Literally the best thing I have ever been to. I am a huge fan of the show. So getting invited to the premiere by a reader who had an extra ticket was a DREAM come TRUE. Granted, I joked all week long to my friends that she was going to kill me in the dark. But it was a chance I was willing to take! :) Michelle actually turned out to be a super nice and very fun girl.

It was pouring. Good thing I flat ironed my hair! UGH. And the heels I had on I purchased right after having my son. I guess my feet went back down to their regular size because I was FALLING out of them the entire night. Add rain to a shoe that is a 1/2 inch too big and you are talking one big embarrassment. Radio City is surrounded by shoe stores. It took all the power in the universe to not go into one of them and buy a new pair.

I get there and ask where the will call line is. Apparently I was standing on it! It was two blocks long. I almost died because I didn't have an umbrella. I called Michelle to see if she got her ticket and she said that she picked mine up too. Woo Hoo! Off to drier lands I went. Few celebrities were there. Actually every celebrity who lived in NY went to the premiere and I am not joking. Everyone except Mariska. I didn't see her unless she snuck in at the end. The first one we ran into was Bradley Cooper from The Wedding Crashers. He was really nice and kept asking us if we were excited. That question was such a given I didn't even answer. I think I was unable to speak during that time.

Then we ran into Caroline Rhea who didn't really seem like she was in the best of moods, but took a picture with Michelle anyway. That was nice. Picked up our popcorn and Vitamin Water and off to our seats we went. GREAT seats. Orchestra but far enough from the screen to actually enjoy the movie.

Who is sitting two rows in front of us but Emmy Rossum who was NOT like what I expected. SO down to Earth, very friendly and normal. You see her in all of these serious roles and I just expected someone who would feel more unapproachable. But Emmy turned out to be really nice instead. She was also very beautiful and tiny. And naturally, her dress was amazing. I told her I wrote a gossip site so the pic was going up. She asked which one and I said, "I'm Not Obsessed". And she turned to me and said, "I think I heard of that one". I almost fell down right on the spot. Who knows? It could have been that thing you say when you want to make someone feel better about what they do. But I'll take it either way.

After she took the pic with us, she asked to see it. I thought that was cute. She said, "If it's going up on the site, I want to make sure it's a decent picture". Naturally, it was as Emmy is a very pretty girl. Michelle's pictures will be uploaded to this post later on in the day. She hasn't sent them to me yet.

Show starts, cast is pointed out in the crowd and the ladies go on stage. They thank NY and the movie begins!! My cheeks start to hurt from how HARD I am smiling.

I laughed, clapped, cheered, gasped and cried. As I said earlier, I am a big fan of the show. So I went in very doubtful that the movie would even come close to the series. But it did it justice and then some.

Granted, I know the show was BETTER because it was the premiere and every single person in there was THRILLED to be there. All sounds were unified and LOUD - when something was funny, the crowd erupted. So magical!

On my way out with Michelle, we ran into Project Runway's Christian Siriano. I think he misplaced his tickets to the fundraiser that followed. He was freaking out a bit running back inside to cover his tracks. Hope he found that.

THEN as I am emailing some friends that demanded a synopsis as soon as I got out of the theatre, someone calls my name. Turns out to be a reader who knew I was going and wanted to say hello. GINA!!!! That was almost as fun as the movie. :)

It took me about 10 minutes to walk back to the car because my shoes were falling off every step of the way. I looked like a Geisha how tiny my steps were. But I made it and shelled out the $52 in parking fees. Viva la NYC parking garages!!

I just want to thank Michelle again for taking me. You literally made my year!
