Matt McConaughey Gets Robbed - Loses Over $2,000
A few weeks ago, I wrote about Matt McConaughey being a drunken mess. Star Magazine had the shots and they were embarrassing to view. Today, the magazine continues with the story claiming that Matty not only lost a pair of flip flops, but he was robbed of his cellphone and over $2,000 in cash. Who carries $2,000 in cash?! WOW.
On June 6, after stumbling out of the bar and being found rummaging through a nearby sewage ditch mumbling "I lost my flip-flops," a source says Matthew accepted a ride back to his villa at a nearby resort from two locals. "Matt was so out of it when they reached the resort that the two guys had to carry him to his villa," the source tells Star.
"They used his key, took him inside and put him to bed, then left — but they left the door unlocked."
At some point in the night, says the source, someone entered Matt's villa while he was still asleep in the bedroom. When he woke in the morning, he was missing $2,000 and his blackberry/phone!"Matt didn't report it to the local authorities," says the source. "I guess he just considered it a lesson learned."

so he wasn't carrying $2000 on him. maybe it was in his villa which makes more sense. i bet it was the guys who took him home who robbed him.

Um, it's STAR magazine. Not exactly the most truthful rag out there. I understand this is a gossip site but Star is as bad, if not worse, than the Enquirer.
