Kate Hudson And Matthew McConaughey Team Up For Another Movie
In case you haven't gotten enough of Kate Hudson and Matthew McConaughey together on the big screen, we have one more coming up! I just saw Fool's Gold earlier this week and let's just say I could have used a bit of a break. Turns out that Kate and Matty are in serious talks to remake the Goldie Hawn classic, Foul Play.
Here is the summary for the original 1978 film thanks to IMDB:
When, unbeknownst to Gloria, a microfilm cassette is left with her by a
dying agent, she becomes entangled in a complicated series of events.
She's pursued by a dwarf and an albino, and becomes convinced that they
are out to kill her. Finally, with the help of San Francisco detective
Tony Carlson, she begins to turn the tables on her pursuers. It becomes
clear that the nerfarious crew after her are plotting a dastardly deed
indeed - to assassinate the Pope as he visits the city to see _The
Mikado_. Gloria and Tony must race against time to prevent this
terrible crime.

I saw Foul Play so many times as a little girl, I was so afraid of the albino man. It was a great movie with Goldie and Chevy. I don't know if Kate and Mat can pull it off. I know who will play the dwarf.... "mini me" Verne form Austin Powers...LOL
I am so freakin sick of all these 'remakes' and I am tired of Matthew and Kate together. Fools Gold was a certified piece of shit, I didnt even make it thru the whole thing. Stick a fork in it already.
Oh, no! These are two of the most overrated, annoying actors out there! Please make it stop!

OH, GOOD. ANOTHER CINEMATIC PIECE OF GARBAGE. I think Kate Hudson is ungodly overrated. She's just a scrawny blond with a famous mom (who's still way hotter than she'll ever be) who makes super crappy films. The ONLY good movie she EVER made was Almost Famous! And that's IT!

Wow, there are a lot of cranky people on this board who might gain from a little r&r today. I'll just pop in with a little positive energy to say that I really like Matt and Kate together in How to Lose a Guy. It was a super funny movie and my daughter and I laughed a lot watching it together. I can totally see Matt and Kate in Foul Play together. Sometimes remakes really DO work well, like Pride and Prejudice, to name one. (I agree with Vera about Fool's Gold. The writing wasn't great on that movie, but the acting was fine. The actors did what they could with the material.)

Why are they in so many movies together? It seems like they would make a good onscreen pair but they obviously don't!
ladybug, they have been in 2 movies together (not sure if that would be considered "so many"). Their movies make a lot of money, and that's why studio heads would ask them to do more together. So you are wrong that they don't make a good onscreen pair. Money is the name of the game in any business.
As an onscreen couple they are played out...
The people in Hollywood are completely lacking in originality. I love that movie this truly saddens me. Also, Kate is just not a very good actress and Matthew is worse.

omg what abunch of haters i love both of them and together they are awsome i bought both movies and watch them offten.......sorry if you may like some piece of s@#t movie that has nothing but sex and violence all over the place ...they make happy moves that just make you feel good plus i can watch them with the kids,,,,,keep it up kate and matt we love you guys together .make a ton of movies i'll be in the at the show...
