Rumor: Angelina Jolie And Brad Pitt Adopting Chinese Oprhan

So what you are telling me is that while Angelina Jolie is in the hospital about to give birth to twins... she is considering adopting another child? WHAT?! The National Enquirer is reporting that Angelina and Brad Pitt are in considering adopting a child (or siblings) who lost their parents during the recent earthquake in China.
"Even as the birth of their twins impended, Angie and Brad were already talking adoption again. She’s devastated over the earthquake that occurred in China, she has been in constant touch with relief workers as part of her U.N. involvement - and even got her hands on photos of a few orphaned kids.
"She’s made overtures to offer a home to one, or even two China earthquake orphans, if they’re siblings."

I hope this is not true. Adopting one child from China is not going to make her the earthquake hero! WTH?
I think the next child Angelina adopts will be African, because she has said previously in interviews that she wants her kids to have someone else in their family that looks like them (racially, obviously not all people of one race look alike). The two boys are Asian, Shiloh has Angelina & Brad that are white, etc. So this is not true
I think that... if it were true, it would just be too much... they need to settle... ina few days, there will be 6 kids to be taken care of... too much... J.
I think they should concentrate on the kids they already have and see how that goes. Adding twins with the other 4 is going to be tough enough even with help.
This whole "charity adoption" business is so ridiculous! Adopting a child is just like having one biologically (or at least it should be); it is NOT charity. If you want to help the less fortunate donate money and your time to help improve the situation in their areas so that they can stop being less fortunate (which I know Jolie and Pitt do) but adopting one kid from here and another one from there and making them millionaires looks too much like a sick hobby ("get urself an exotic kid to decorate your dull life").
I can totally she her doing this. What is the point of having kids biologically, when your just going to adopt a child(ren) from every country on earth??

I don’t understand what is your problem people. She is wealthy and has means of bringing up the children. Even if she didn’t treat them the same as her own kids it would still be better than being brought up as an orphan in a Chinese orphanage. I’m not her or Brad’s fan, but I’m happy to see that there are celebrities who take care of poor children rather than buying 100,000 dollar dress or doing something similarly ridiculous. *That* makes me sick. So sick.
it's not just about money. it's about being there physically and emotionally. there is no way she can do that with so many young children. if their ages were spaced out more, it would be different because they would have different developmental needs. but to purposely keep bringing little babies and toddlers into the family is pretty selfish at this point. why doesn't she ever adopt any older orphans?
I suggest that u watch John and Kate plus eight. They have twins and sextuplets...so anyone can do it once the manage their time
there is empirical support to the claim that having too many children can be detrimental to their socio-emotional development. there is only so much that two parents can do, and it seems like a bad idea for such a young couple to raise 7 children! I mean, Angie is only 33 I think!
I wouldn't be surprised. But I doubt it's true. Because if the general idea of the story was true they would probably be adopting an orphan from Myanmar, because that happened first. What a horrible thing to say. They should help out though, but just because they help out doesn't mean they need to bring them home.
Angelina has a problem. She's collecting kids and it's gone too far. It was bad enough that she used fertility treatments to have twins but now she's adding even more kids to the family? Brad should intervene. Oh that's right she cut his balls off a long time ago.
i rather think that brad couldn't leave her even if he wanted to without completely ruining his images. how can you leave a mother and 6 (or more) children?

Honestly this is becoming as bad as her freak'n tatoo addictions. ENOUGH!! She is like one of those damn cat ladies but she collect kids! There will come a point where they can not raise/handle all these kids. The more she has the less attention each one gets. Somone needs to stop her. It's not normal and dosn't seem very healthy either.
why do you look at it as an addiction??? its not really any different than people who pop out 6 kids au natural.....its just building a family. i come from a big family (5) and my mother raised us all singlehandedly after my father died of cancer when i was 3. i never felt deprived, or like i never got enough special attention from her. having such a big family was great. you always have somebody to play with, and it makes your family stronger as a whole.
well, different times call for different measures. Having adopted or natural small children ofthe same age puts a strain on relationships and can be problematic for children as well since parents do not have enought time for them. Here we are talking about children from different cultures. It should be 3 times as hard. And it is not about money. Also in the past in rural villages people had many many children to help them with work. Thre was certain poverty level and not a lot of temptations around. Perhaps you are one of the lucky ones. But it is just a different world. And it is soooooo overpopulated: adopting is great for that sake. Angelina can do whatever she wants even adopt 30 orphants but I am just saying, there are orphants in this country too. Or only exotic asians and africans welcome to her family?
they don't even have time to enjoy and get to know one before they get another!! I don't care if they are adopted or natural BUT at least NATURE makes you spread them out a bit!!!
Yeah but those mothers are usually full time moms, I know families with 11, 9, 8 but the moms are totally dedicated to the children they don't work and they don't have nannies and we live in expensive San Diego. She is not one of those moms!!! One of the 11 is a medical student. So yeah your right women can have as many as they want as long as their life is dedicated to the children, that's what makes children successful! I only have 3 (18, 16, & 2) and run a company with my husband and believe me I feel terrible not being able to be there full time for my kids and having my 2 yr old go to a babysitter (Grandma of course).
Oh gosh. SO not true. ... But, if it is, then they need rehab for addaction to kids! You know that they're already rasing the kids with nannies (which isn't bad), but they will be soley raised by the nannies because their parent's wont have time!
I doubt this story, since it's from the oh-so reliable National Enquirer.
The Enquirer actually gets some pretty accurate scoops (e.g., Patrick Swayze's cancer), they just tend to embellish their stories too much. This story is likely based on something but way overblown.
hmmm... i thought that since brad pitt filmed 'seven years in tibet' he was banned from china? i thought i read that somewhere before... i mean if they adopt a kid from china, and if angelina jolie wants them close to their heritage, wouldnt the ban be a problem fro brad pitt, seeing that he cant go to china?
I hope they are taking the time to make sure that they children are truly well-adjusted and actually like EACH OTHER! This is such a short time to have such a large family. But, I guess with all their help, it's not just them doing the parenting. Good luck to them!

um...i don't think there would be "siblings" from china...don't they only legally let couples have ONE kid? this story has to be fake, i mean come on. If it's not...i can think of tons of siblings here in the us without parents.
i seriously doubt that the jolie-pitts are thinking of adopting from china. not only is it highly impractical at the time, Brad is banned from china due to his movie Seven Years in Tibet. (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0120102/trivia) angie & brad have also said in the past that they like to have individual time with the children, and increasing their family twofold so quickly will take some adjusting to. i doubt they will think about adopting again for at least another year, or until the twins are a bit bigger.
