We all grow up. It's inevitable. But I miss the free-spirited Katie Holmes. She seems so very serious these days. Her clothing, her hair style, her demeanor... it's all beyond her years. Old news I know... it's just all very shocking each time a new set comes out of her.

How you age that quickly in two years? Unbelievable. I think she's going to have major regrets when she really does get old because her youth was sucked out of her .
I think she dresses older and styles her hair the way she does is because she is so much younger than Tom. Too bad!
I really wish she's grow her hair back out--for her sake. Because I definitely agree with the first poster about Katie regretting this when she is older. Enjoy your youth while you have it! It only comes once.

She def has not been true to heself since she met Tom, she is just a shell of her former self. She also probably hasn't had any really good *** in a long time, you can just see the frustration oozing out of her.
Lay off the girl, she looks refined an polished. All of you talk a good game but if you came up on a lot of money I'm sure a lot of your "looks" would change too! And if her new look "bothers" you so much...stop looking! geez
i agree with most of the post that she has aged sooo much in short amount of time. But all these pics were taken while she is shooting, she might be playing an older character and she has no choice on the clothing. just saying.
I hate what's become of her since marrying Tom. At first, it looked like she was going to be ok. But now, she looks like a grandmother. I hate her hair. I hate how she never wears any color and I hate that she doesn't seem to wear makeup anymore.
Well, thank goodness! If the girl HAS to work - at least she is doing TV. She just does NOT have the talent for movies or the stage.
Yes, aside from looking beyond her years, Holmes is looking very homely now a days.
It's not just the hair and clothing that is aging her...it's her dramatic weight loss. She doesn't looks happy either. I don't understand why she want to look a 45 year old?
I can't remember the last time I wore grey, dress pants...and what is that fabric? wool.....? Doesn't look too good for summer. She could dress a whole lot better unless that is what she is wearing for the role she's playing.

God. I just watched Batman Begins last night, and I was AMAZED at how she used to look. I mean, to be quite honest, I always thought Katie erred more on the cute side. I've never found her *gorgeous*, but she was definitely this sort of bubbly, sorority-girl type. And now she's a Scientologist who dresses like a math teacher, or maybe a church organist. Sexy. Sorry, but women who completely change for their mates are competely freaking lame. I have no respect for her. And I'm sure as hell not a fan.
Maybe she got tired of being perceived as bubbly and cute. Maybe she is wants to be taken more seriously as an actress. Maybe she didn't want to look like a little kid anymore. Maybe she naturally changed her style as she grew up. Maybe she got a new stylist. Maybe Tom has nothing to do with it.
Dude, if she HAS a stylist, homegirl/boy needs to be fired. STAT.

Uh hello this is her character for the show. She is a lawyer and the rest are secrets from the show. She's not a sexy **** as some of you dress and aim to be. She dances and sings too for this ep.

Perfect package as in fashion,acting,personality and values. I laugh because a few cant see the difference of real life and tv sets. Paps swarm the set because Holmes so they take shots of her even with her costumes and working. Its fun indeed but it ruins the plot because while I surf for stars news and pics little I know some are part of the movie and tv episode already. Paparazzis have off limits on tv and movie sets.

Absolutely adorable and among the few actresses that can be plain jane beautiful and when playing dress up she is a knockout. Many actresses cant pull off pretty when they have no makeup.
i heart her completely! i will watch this show for her. I miss her in Batman but having seen the movie i guess im ok now its not Katie because its painful to watch(not spoiling the film here for those who havent seen it). now i its more obvious why Katie left. Good luck on her Broadway show too. im disheartened that i cant see that one.
Old looking clothes, an aged face, not-so-good acting skills and a deranged husband(?)no wonder no one was buying tickets for her Broadway play(just read an article about it). Man, it was funny!!!! The brokers even though she's gonna be another Julia Roberts.
Her face doesn't look OLD as many of you are saying. I don't know what you expect from celebrities, but all I know is that all of us look that way when we have no make up on. Maybe, she doesn't want to be all dolled up all the time, maybe she's not superficial like most of you here. And, those of you who say she can't act, of course she can, we all can :). Lets judge her acting skills, as of late, once we see the show, huh? how about that???
