Will You Be Wearing Ripped Jeans This Fall?

Ripped jeans popped up again this spring, and now they're showing up at tons of retailers for this coming fall- straight-legs, flares, pale washes, even skinny styles are getting the treatment long inexplicably shared by both rock stars and sorority girls. What's your take- a perfect fit for the coming season, too soon to bring it back, or something you never wore in the first place?

I'm definitely over that. I got so sick of replacing them all the time because the rips just got bigger and bigger.
I got all nostalgic when I saw them... my high school/early college 501's like that were so cool- or at least I thought so at the time. I still like how they look (the JCrew ones are my favorite wash and cut) but somehow I don't think they'll work on me all pregnant this fall.
Of course they'll look AMAZING on you!!! The trick is to not spend to much (I've seen some scaaaary prices for maternity) ... I'll dig around & find you some hot looks that won't cause wallet-pain!!! Also TopShop is opening in SoHo in October & they have TOTALLY affordable maternity jeans that are on-trend ... so I'll scout it for you when it opens! Â ;~))))Â

I don't really like buying jeans that already have holes in them, because I'm really good at wearing my jeans out. :) But its always nice when they're fashionable again.. though really, I think ripped jeans are never completely "out" of style.

Probably...I love the easy comfortable look. I've always been a jeans and t-shirt gal. The AE boyfriend jean is fabulous. I live in mine and will be getting more.
hm, probably not. not a fan of holes and super ripped jeans. I guess I'll stick with the skinny jeans. Love pepe jeans, they have the most perfect fit!

I will stick with my mainly dark wash jean collection. Jeans I can wear going out and to work. Boot cut or wide leg. Gap jeans fit me very well and don't break the bank. I do have a favorite pair from JCrew but only buy if super clearance, they can be pricy (though I am wearing my super comfy $20 dress from them today!).
I would never buy ripped jeans. They are the best when you earn it and wear the holes in yourself. Then they've become the most comfortable, worn in jeans- love it! In fact, mine got so worn in, comfortable, and holey that I made myself paint in them so they'd be officially wrecked and I'd stop wearing them in public. (a big hole by the butt really isn't appropriate ;)
