Sweet Relief For Post-Waxing Woes!

Summer is by far my favorite season, but the frequent battles with waxing? Not so much. I have my go-to solution for eliminating nasty bumps and ingrown hairs, but I had to write about the new one I just found!! I've heard of the Shobha salons in New York City and their hair-removal and skincare expertise, so I was very excited to hear about their new aftercare waxing lotion. If you're not too familiar with the salon, here's a blurb for ya:
Based on the ancient philosophies of Indian beauty, Shobha Tummala, Founder and Creative Director of Shobha, created a luxuriously exotic and intimate environment where both women and men can indulge in the centuries-old methods of hair removal and skincare practiced in India.
Shobha continues the Indian beauty customs with a range of signature lifestyle products dedicated to fulfilling a harmony between the body, mind and spirit."
So here's the scoop on their new installment, Shobha Ingrown Hair Relief Lotion: it treats and prevents ingrowns, moisturizes skin, soothes razor burn, and is free of chemicals, colors, and fragrance. What I liked most about it is that it's a totally silky and non-greasy cream, so it goes on mess-free and quickly absorbs in one step. I also love the all-natural formula:
- glycolic acid, vitamin A, and tea tree oil, which exfoliate and protect;
- glycerin and cetearyl alcohol, which moisturize; and
- chamomile, which soothes.
I've been using this every night for several weeks now, and it's managed to keep things...um, under control and calm, regardless of a couple of waxings for my beach trip (not good, but must be done!). At $22, it may seem a little pricey (until you try it!!), but they're actually having some introductory deals right now until July 31st (i.e., get $5 off when you order the lotion off the website and enter code IRL05). Get ready to feel pampered!!
