ahah there are some cool pieces here, but I will have to wait until clearance due to the fact that I'm a poor ass student! I must... save... money... NO SHOPPING!!! (Yeah, right.)
Good call! I saw sooooo many classmates go into horrific debt with shiny new credit cards when they hit college it got scary.
Â
too pricey for me..just doesn't make sense, you see i work because i have to ...my father told me that i look good in anything...and after all these years i still belive him....i told my daughter and neice the same thing..and i'll tell my granddaughter too it;s in the genes.:)
In 3 or so weeks I'm SURE I'll be able to do a 'Look For Less' using Go Jane, Forever 21 & LuLu's ;~)))) Â
I don't think there is a single item there that is innovative or unique to "mark" his brand. WAY OVERPRICED TOO!
I've got to agree with you ... but he DID create a really nice redux of Peter Dundas' F/W 2007 for Ungaro
Check the link, it might shock a lot of people who watched PR Season 4, since this collection was shown Spring 2006, & when they were taping the show these jackets/leggings/skirts/dresses were fresh on a lot of peoples minds ... if you know what I'm saying, without, of course, saying anything at all ;~)
I agree it's way overpriced. Especially for Bluefly. I thought Bluefly was supposed to be "discounted" and this isn't by a longshot (despite the fact his other designs cost at least three times more, i'm sure). This does not exactly make his designs accessible by the general public. The only piece I see that strikes my fancy is the shirt dress but I could get something like that from Max Studio for half the cost. Everything Christian makes in black, Max Studio has already done something at least similar to it, and for cheaper (in my opinion).
Hmmm ... now that you mention getting it cheaper:
1- Perforated Stripe Shirt Dress for $24.80
2- Sheer Striped Shirt Dress  for $34.80
Not eactly the same but ... I actually like the 2nd one from Forever 21 better & I'm sure in a week or 2 a lot of other stores will have similar looks for a LOT  less ;-)
Now I'll go back to staring at Forever 21's pants page & hitting refesh till a pair of skinny pants pop up for $25 (should be soon!).Â
i love the ruffle jacket. but i'm not a fashionista...i'm just trying to be a trendy jeans type person...with a cool belt. if i was though...that's a pretty sick jacket. i think the line is stronger suited for those that are risky. i'm not.
Lately (in fashion) being "risky" means being honest about your personal style, likes & dislikes, & saying no to a look that other people blindly follow (whether it looks good on them or not) just because it's trendy or hip ... so congrats you're risky in a REALLY GOOD WAY!Â
Overall, I really like this collection. A bit edgy but still wearable for the average jane.

I think they're edgy, but actually much more wearable ... & priced a HECK of a lot better!

What a hot tranny mess.
Bahahahahaha ... !!!!!
It might be my monitor...but what photogapher chooses a black/grey background to showcase black clothing? I can't really see the details on most of the pieces. And no, even if I could see them, I wouldn't spend that amount of money for something that will be outdated before it arrives in the mail.
