Jessica Simpson To Design Clothing Line
Jessica Simpson doesn't sleep. Not for one minute. How can she when she has 6 million projects in the works at all times including managing a successful music career and serious relationship with Tony Romo? Not to mention having to deal with Papa Joe on a regular basis. That alone is a full time job.
Jessica, who already has her own fragrance, range of hair extensions and bath and body line - is now taking a step into the fashion industry. The country singer will most likely create an extra long version of everything. How will anyone see my Jessica Simpson shoes if I am wearing a pair of Jessica Simpson jeans? It's counterproductive isn't it?
She says,
"I’m extremely excited to be expanding into the dress market. I plan on creating beautiful dresses in distinctive fabrics and silhouettes that are reflective of my personal style and offer something special to the marketplace."
Simpson’s first collection is expected to debut in 2009.

This woman is still figuring out what to do. Hopefully this will make her happy because so far, her career looks like it was based on what other people (cough, papa joe, cough) wanted her to do.
Lets HOPE they are reasobalby priced unlike Lauren Conrad's ugly rags she tries to sell for hundres of bucks!

I don't get how people actually buy clothes made by any celebrity. It's not that they know what they're doing to begin with, they have no idea about fabrics, cuts, styles... To top that off, if they come across as not too bright, as Chestica Simpleton does, I as a consumer wouldn't want to be associated with any of her products! This is not meant to be elitist, I wouldn't want to buy Harvard grad Natalie Portman's shoes either.

She tries too much thing at the same time, and yeah shes bad everywhere. I saw her singing live her country song!!!!!!!!!! I felt bad for her!

I have a pair of Princey Jean Capris. I absolutely LOVE them. Good quality and they are fun. Can't wait to see her dresses, she has good sense of style.
I am sorry but her shoes are really really cute and some of her hand bags are pretty cute as well the price is not that high but they carry all the stuff at Macys any way and that stuff always goes on sale. I feel really bad for her people are always picking on her and she really does not seem like that terriable of a person.
Just because her name is used doesn't mean,and I don't believe,she has any real input in the products.

Just what is her style? She has people that dress her for "events", and she dresses like a two-bit hooker half the time on her own! Other than the t-shirt about meat, how many of her tops actually are appropriate for the "common" woman who isn't built like a newly freshen cow and doesn't want their tits hanging out? Her "style" is more hooker than ladylike!!!

Well, I guess Jessica's talent lies in consumer products. The girl made over 350 million dollars this year, according to many consumer reports and In Touch magazine!
I am sure they will be in a decent price range as they will probably be sold at Macy's like her shoes and purses (which are actually really cute) If her clothing is anything like her shoes or purses I will probably buy it. :)

I think Jessica has great style and her clothing line will go far.
