I saw this last week on some other blogs and I almost fell over. I could NOT believe this was for real. Then I looked it up on IMDB and Paul Sorvino is also in it!!!! I guess it is a full-length film made from a short that had gotten a lot of attention a couple of years ago. NOW I have officially seen it all! :-)

I don't know what to say about this. Part of me really likes it - a rock and roll musical, fun makeup/costumes/songs...BUT Paris Hilton curdles the whole thing for me. The very fact she is in it makes it very UNcool. blech.

Bousman has tried to convince everyone that the reason he put Hilton in camouflage make-up is that he wanted viewers to, in his own words, “see the performer and not Paris Hilton.” Is this his apology for forcing viewers to watch Hilton play Hilton in exchange for her post-jail notoriety and the additional media hype he wanted? Why else would he give “starring” credits to her before other performers who have far more acting credibility, experience and talent – not to mention screen time? Personally, I think his behavior was awful –----- and an insult to the other cast members. Sorry ---- I don’t care how creepy this campy blood and gore fest is ----- I’m gonna pass on this over-hyped mess.
To wil: I agree but for different reasons.
My husband knows someone who saw the screening and people walked out in disgust. It’s a sensationalized version of the original stage musical. Anyways, Paris is okay but not great. Wears heavy makeup, whiny voice, not a good dancer. She plays a sendoff of herself and who wants to see that? Even tho I like Paul Sorvino I don’t need to see evisceration up close and personal to be entertained. Sick.
LOL! Well, the Hilton PR promo posters are out in full force. Most of us won't see it. Read what Defamer and other sites had to say about this garbage -- the comments are hysterical!!

Those of us who embrace things outside of societal norms will love it. The rest of you are welcome to keep your romantic comedies.
Paris told Newsweek Magazine during an interview that she had her people smuggle the REPO script to her while she was in jail. She said she spent her jail time practicing and memorizing the script for her REPO audition because -- as she said -- “I had nothing else to do.”
I remember how she bragged about all of the letters she wrote to her fans -- and she drew pictures of herself. So what happened to the majority of her jail time she claimed she spent studying the bible and reflecting on her life? This is probably why she couldn’t quote one bible passage on Larry King. But she sure knew her lines for the REPO audition.

Lol...good pont. this movie is all blood, gore, torture, death and porn. But it's a free country. Why not make a movie about Jeffrey Dahmer and put it to music. Just don't call it "art" or "outside of society's norm." It would be neither. And neither is REPO. That's the sad part.

Kudos! I have to laugh at some of these repeat childish posts -- they (same person?) haven’t seen the film, but that gives them the right to say what’s in the film, and what isn’t, with inane, grammar school comments like, “get over yourself.” And there are porn-like scenes in this film. That clip with that hypo, alone, is pretty darn close. Each person has every right to view what he or she wants to view…whether its horror, drama, action, etc. But it’s nice to see people commenting on this film with some intelligence, who have actually seen it or know someone who has.
I know this person who's hairdresser's cousin's dog saw it... he said it sucked...
