Jay Z Still Won't Confirm Wedding To Beyonce

I guess this couple isn't going to admit they got married ever. I thought after a while, the urge to hold onto the secret would die down. But during a recent Vibe interview, Jay-Z was asked about his wedding to Beyonce and refused to comment.

"I just think it's really a part of your life that you gotta keep to yourself," he tells Vibe in their September issue. "You have to have something sacred to you and the people around you," the 38-year-old adds. "I shared so much of my life… I should have something to hold on to."

Celebrities have ever right to their privacy. It IS their lives after all. It just shocks me a bit once one of them actually follows through. As long as they're happy... that's all that matters.

Classy. Too bad all celebs do not share this attitude. Bennifer most likely would have lasted longer if they had not fed the appetite of the curious public.

I think it's great that they've never flaunted their relationship or their wedding for more media exposure, but now it looks like they're keeping quiet for... well... more media exposure. A simple announcement after the fact confirming their marriage would have resulted in a lot less press than all the speculation about "are they or aren't they married?" stuff that's going on now.

That's idiotic. I can see keeping your actual, personal, at-home goings-on private, but a marriage license is in the public records. Why not just say yes, we're married and we're not commenting any more on it?

Oh give it a rest, Jay-Z, what's the big deal saying that you are married (or not)? Get over yourself!

Why does he have to comment? Everybody knows they are married. Why is a public statement neccessary?

If he's talking about keeping the details of his wedding private, I agree with him. If he's refusing to confirm that they are indeed married, that's beyond silly.

why should he have to make a public statement? ppl are going on about this the same way they were going on about christina not confirming her pregnancy. i mean, just looking at the grl you could tell she was pregnant. why do they need to confirm? they don't owe the public any explanation? ppl get so use to celebs spilling the most initimate details about their life that they almost expect all of them to do the same. i say: don't feed into the nosy public obsessions.
