Few things came up today about upcoming Angelina Jolie work. Seems like this mom of 6 is going to be very busy over the next few years. Guess that means we will see less of Brad Pitt on the big screen as the couple has promised to switch off working cycles.
- Angelina is set to replace Tom Cruise in Edwin A. Salt
- The film is currently being rewritten to have a female lead. It is an espionage thriller which is right up Angelina's alley. No news on the new title.
- Angelina is getting some advice from porn star Tera Patrick for her upcoming Catwoman role in Batman.
- Tera is offering her services to Angie says Page Six - "They are friends and keep in touch via e-mail. She and Angie have a
girl-talk thing going. After seeing reports that she’ll land the lead
role, Jolie asked Patrick what she thought. Tera had such insights into

Which role are you most excited about? I think Angie can handle both perfectly. While I wish the Batman series would not reprise the Catwoman role, if they had to I guess Angie is the best choice.

me neither. it's always the same with her: a spy or a cruel sexkitten. and when she tries to do a serious role, it's so blank and bad and boring noone remembers it.
I wish they had gone for someone else for Cat Woman. Michelle Pfiffer (sp?) was great because she could play the geek girl who transformed into Cat Woman, and still had some vulnerability - I don't see Ange doing that. Nicole Kidman would have been my personal choice, although she has already been in a Batman movie. I really hope that CW isn't being written as a completely evil, sex-pot, action woman.

i wonder if she slept with tera patrick...why else would they be "friends"? not many female hollywood mega stars are friends with porn stars, something tell me they wouldnt be hanging out in the same circles.

I really don't believe the Catwoman rumor, something just doesn't seem to fit.
that wud be perfect, angie alredy has the catty thing going on with her feline eyes. and shes such a gr8 actress i think she'll own the part!!!
I thought she was going to take some time off for the kids? Sheesh. Well I agree, there are much better actresses out there, although physically she'd make an excellent Catwoman.

One way of making sure I do not watch the next Batman? Have Angelina Jolie playing catwoman. Are they seriously telling me out of all the actresses in Hollywood they think Angelina is the best? There are far far better who deserve the role more than someone who can only play different versions of themself because as far as I can tell that's her acting style. Girl Interrupted - Crazy version of herself, Mr and Mrs Smith - assassin version of herself whereas other actresses actually become the character. Never mind...Goodbye Batman!
I think Ang would make an excellent cat woman, then again I love her so, I'm sure I would watch her in anything.

People are obsessed with her - it's like passing a car wreck on the highway, you can't help but look because it's fascinating. I think a lot of people mistake being incredibly photogenic with acting talent. She needs to prove herself as more than a one-note, seductress, action figure actress before I jump on the bandwagon. She definitely has talent and looks great on film, but she is given FAR more credit than she deserves, IMO.
I went to see Wanted expecting to be wowed, but she wasn't good. It was disappointing. But I'll admit, it was hard to keep your eyes off of her when she was on-screen. Who wants to be that distracted from the movie you just paid to see?

She is not the best choice for Catwoman UGH the will ruin the whole film if they put her non acting self in the movie.
The catwoman story is just a rumour right now. Angie is not going to be working this year to be with her family like she said.

HOPEFULLY this rumor is NOT true! i am a die hard batman fan! ever since the comics to the original tv series to the cartoon series in the 90s. i have seen batman 1 and 2 (but stopped after they started going hokey with the movies). and i've seen batman begins and dark knight - which i absolutely loved because it was so close to the comic series. for them to bring back catwoman, who was already done in the previous batman franchise, and to have jolie play the character is going to be...kinda lame. they need to bring in an all new character who hasn't been in the movies, and if they ever did decide to do the catwoman character, they should go with someone who doesn't have her head up her ass and does the same role over and over. i do agree, physically she could pull it off...but she can not act and it'll be that same pursed lips look throughout the whole movie! argghh. i hope this is only a rumor.............

I think she's a great actress and really kicks ass in Action movies. I would watch any action movie Jolie stars in.
I think Brad Pitt has a lot of movies set to be released for 08-09 . I think he's the one who's overrated.. I hate his mouth... it makes him looks ape-ish.

Megan Fox would be a younger and prettier Catwoman. Brad and Angelina look so much older on this cover than the cover they did when Shiloh was a baby. All those kids really took a toll. Meanwhile Jennifer Aniston is getting her groove back. yay
Angelina never said she won't work for years. She said after the Changeling wrapped, she was taking a year off. Filming ended in October or November. The script for both of these movies hasn't even been written. Filming wouldn't even begin until 2009 at the earliest. Also Batman is just a rumor. There may not even be a Catwoman since other characters like The Penguin and The Riddler have also been circulated. And if there is a Catwoman, it doesn't mean Angelina has the role. People associated with the franchise have said they would like Angelina to do it but she hasn't signed on for the role.
charlize theron would be a perfect catwoman. she got the looks and she can act.
Frankly, I'm SO tired of that hobag and her bull that I can barely tolerate seeing her face or even her name anywhere, anymore. I will not see any movie she's in, no matter who else is in it. I've always enjoyed the Batman movies, but if she's in it, I won't see it. Ever. She's the most overrated media celebrity ever. She's a boringly mediocre actress and I think it's totally ridiculous and repugnant how she uses those children for PR. She's dispicable. The entertainment industry would be less of a joke if she just disappeared.

hahaha, some people are acting so diplomatic. as if one day brad or ang could knock at their doors or they will actually meet somehow and then they will be glad that they didn't badmouthing about the couple XD
I guess with high-profile/high-paying work like this coming in Brad and Angelina can afford to donate the staggering amounts paid for pictures of their children to charity. They should broadcast the message to more exploitative parents like Dina Lohan or Larry Birkhead or Matthew McConaughey...."If you actually work then you won't have to rely on your children for income."
