Rachael Ray On The Streets Of NYC

Here comes season three! Rachael Ray hit the streets of NYC to kick off the launch of her third season. I can't get over how BIG Rachael has become. I mean, she was the HIGHEST PAID CHEF OF THE YEAR (and she isn't even a chef). She beat out Emeril (even with his Martha Stewart deal) and Bobby Flay, Mario Batali and every other person on the Food Network by a long shot. She better call Oprah and thank her every single day of her life!:)
What a dream come true. Remember watching her when she first started? This adorably bubbly and down to Earth person from upstate NY talking about her dogs and the love she has for her grandfather...

I really like her. I wish you would cook healthier. I usually don't follow her recipes because she has gotten "BIGGER" in other ways too...
I really like her also, but sometimes she gets on my nerves when she talks too much and keeps saying EVOO!

Okay, I am guessing Vera, that you don't *really* like her, and are just trying to be nice. That intro/first pic totally looks like Fat Elvis. There is no way you are a fan! :-)
I love her, love her recipies. But she annoys the living crap out of me ( I can only watch 30-minute meals, nothing else!), and I hate her latest hair "style".
She looks pudgy. Girlfriend needs to hit the gym. Her "cooking" is horrible.

I know if I ate meals every day cooked in tons of EVOO (yes, that gets on my last nerve too!), then I'd pack on the pounds, as well!!
My sister is currently going to school to be a Dietician and gets SO mad when she watches her show because she's always talking about how the meals she's making are healthy when, in reality, they are pretty bad for you! She uses ingredients with so much sodium (chicken broth in EVERYTHING, for example), which is probably a big part of why she has blown up.
One thing I will commend her on though is that she does make reference to turning the meals vegetarian if you're so inclined. Being a vegetarian, it's always nice to hear those references in the mainstream media without people making a big deal out of it and acting like it's strange!

I knew as soon as I clicked on this post and read the comments I was going to get annoyed. I don't really understand how you guys can be so harsh. She has worked her ass off and become very successful while doing something that she loves. And then for everyone to praise how awesome people like Lauren Conrad are for doing nothing and getting paid to lie in the sun and air her dirty laundry on TV. I just don't get it.

i fell in love with Rachael Ray when she first appeared on the food network. but now her EGO has gotten so big and out of control, she has become an ugly person to me. ..... a friend of mines that works at NYC's radio station Z100 told me that last year, she was scheduled to be on the morning radio show, showed up an hour late, and demanded that no one sit closer than 5 feet to her or touch her. how fame turns people ugly. smh.

HeHeHe...When you referenced "how big" RR had gotten, I thought you meant her size - Not her show! Oops. I can't stand her. There isn't a genuine thing about her...And really, is it that hard to say word in their entirety? "Delicious." Whew, that was so draining I think next time I'll just say, "Delish." Drives me insane.

I too remember when she was cute to watch...about 5 years ago. She used to be dun, but now she's annoying. Total overkill. This is what "hollywood" is all about build someone up and watch the fall. it's sad.
Can't stand her. She can't cook, everything is laden with fat and cheese, and I understand she is a true bitch.
I know someone who works in a high end cooking shop in Seattle who said she was the most bitch, nasty, demanding guest they had ever had. They love Giada, Mario, and Paula, but hated on Rachael.
The only reason she is as big is because of Oprah. Her cooking show is a disaster and if I hear her tell me one more time about her stupid family, I'm knocking the TV screen out!
Rachael is a cook, her food is unhealthy, her voice is annoying, and she is obnoxious. He best place would be to cook at the roadside diner.
Oprah was amazing in her hey day and broke ground but while she was promoting losers like Dr.(NOT)phil and Racheal Ray(NO NECK) into our livingrooms,her students were being raped in Africa.As far as I'm concernd they are three peas in a pod and I hope they burn in HELL.
Racheal Ray is a chain smoking drunk and that's why she looks 59 yrs. old instead of 39 yrs. old.I work at the FN and run into this troll and her greasy bald headed husband regulaurly.All of us at work call them the grusome twosome.They are vile human beings.
She is the reason I won't go to Dunkin Doughnuts. Oh yeah that and they f'd up my drink one time.
I don't think I'd be so bothered by her if she could just tone down the volume like six clicks. The screaming is absolutely unnecessary.
I am one of those people who USE to like RR. Back when 30mm was in it's 1, 2 and 3rd seasons. Before she used the word EVOO like 100 times an episode and made things I would actually make. As soon as she started her supposed "cooking" show on NBC, I was done w/her and 30mm. 30mm became unbearable to watch (I hate the redesign) and her talk/cooking show on NBC is unwatchable. And to the person that said that if she was so horrible how come she is is successful: HELLO. Most distaseful people become successful this way. If she was so LOVED- we all probably wouldn't know who she was. Think Donald Trump. Who could love the Thump? but I don't know a single peson alive that doesn't know who is is.

And, what makes it worse, is the shirts she wears. Very unattractive. They look crooked in her low cut tops and with her unproportioned hips versus breasts. If she would stopm wearing such small shirts and tight jeans and light colored tops, maybe it would be more flattering.
Her voice is annoying..THE EVOO, YUMMO, SAMMY, ECT..makes me want to vomit. I stopped watching her years ago.

I loved 30 minute meals. Not always the healthiest foods, but cool the way she could put together a full meal so quickly. Her personality was great, so down to earth and cute.(REAL) Now, her ego is bigger than her. I don't like her talk show at all. Did watch it when it first came on. Can't stand it now. Don't care to hear about latest fashion or listen to her chit chat with celebs. Want to see her cook and learn from her how to prepare the meals she does. Doesn't matter if she is not a schooled chef, she is gifted at what she does. Just wish she stick with what she was good at. Cause her show stinks to high heavens. Also, can't stand these food show where the chef is so descriptive about how the food they prepared taste and makes all kind of disgusting HMMMM sounds. IE. Everyday Italian. Oh its so rich and creamy and smooth the flavors are exploding in my mouth. They eat the stuff when its still pipping hot cause the time is running out......... We can see it looks good!
