Judy Reyes Is The Next To Quit Scrubs

Judy Reyes has become the latest Scubs star to quit the hit medical comedy.
Reyes, who plays Carla Espinosa on the show, is planning to leave the sitcom at the end of its upcoming seventh year, according to reports.
She’ll join show star Zach Braff and creator Bill Lawrence, who are also reportedly set to quit.
Reyes tells the Globe tabloid, "
Their salaries exceed the budget… so do their ambitions. Mine do too."
The actress, 40, hopes to find a new home on Broadway or in the movies. I think this is the beginning of the end...

NOOOOOOO! I can't say that I love the character Carla, she kind of annoys me. But, I ADORE Scrubs. It's hands down my favorite show and I want it to go on forever.

*sigh* well 7 years was a good run for this hilarious show. ill miss this show too but im not too likely to watch the last season crumble with its creator and two great characters going with him. hows turk suposed to go on without carla? are their divorce plans or something?
That's exactly my question. What about Turk? And at this stage wouldn't it be best to bring this fabulous series to an fabulous end? Agree that she doesn't look one day older than 30.

Oh no! I love Scrubs but without Carla and JD Scrubs isn't really Scrubs anymore. Judy looks so much cuter with her freckles showing. You dont' really see them on TV!
OMG 40!?! I thought she was my age 28 or something like that. Scrubs has had its run they should end it before it gets too pathetic. 7 years is a LONG TIME.

I agree- she looks great for her age. Well if those two are leaving, it's gonna go down. It wont be the same. It will be missed! Love it.
Maybe I'm missing something but I thought the 7th season was the last season. I thought that it was a long shot for ABC to pick it up for an 8th season even if it was a hit. I think other cast members even said they were done with the show. Besides the show couldn't continue without Zack.

I wish her and everyone the best. I'm sure they all want to stretch and play other characters and to be honest, Scrubs never seemed to get the respect it deserved I don't blame people for leaving after seven years. I always figured this would be the last year.
I just hope that doesn't mean I never see the cast again. I hope I see them all on their next projects.
