Fact Or Fiction: Carrie Underwood Calls Jessica Simpson Fat

Oh no she didn't! A friend of Carrie Underwood's said she called Jessica Simpson fat after looking at Jess' magazine cover proclaiming her love for Tony Romo.
“She finds Jessica’s love of putting her life on display pretty desperate,” a pal of the “Before He Cheats” singer tells OK!. "She laughed at the People cover, because it’s the same one Jess did about John Mayer — same smile, same look, except she’s a little fatter.”
Carrie also isn't worried about competition in the country music field.
“Carrie doesn’t think fans will spend money to watch Jess warble through a few badly written songs.”
Carrie seems like such a sweet girl. Do you think she truly feels this way or is the media just exaggerating this blondie battle? So, fact or fiction: Did Carrie really call Jessica fat???

I don't care what any of you say, unless u know someone don't make assumptions. The media is totally trying to play this up and make it worse than it really is. She does nothing but defend those around her all the time..shes'd NEVER say anything like this. Carrie is remorseful for dumping Tony, and she only has herself to blame. Jessica is dating him now, and he is happy according to reports. She needs to move on with her life already. I am not a fan of Carrie's and if she did call Jessica fat, I agree with her totally! Jessica needs to take her little brain dead ass to the gym, and carry herself like the celeb she is!
I agree with Carrie. Tony Romo totally downgraded when he went from a real country singer with a rockin body and cuter face to a copy-cat fatty like Jessica.

Sometimes saying someone is "a little fatter" does not mean you think they are fat. Similarly, saying someone is "a little thinner" does not mean you think they are thin. Still not a nice thing to say, but you never know what she really meant (if she even said it).
Yes, she probably did say this. But who hasn't ever looked at a magazine cover and made a comment about someone's body, whether too fat or too skinny? I don't think there's anything wrong with her having said this to a "friend" who then tried to paint her as some malicious bitch by leaking it to the media.
I think Carrie Underwood probably told "this person" thinking that it wouldnt go any further than just girl talk. I wouldnt go as far as calling Jessica Simpson fat but I think she is a little desperate to find love and when she thinks she does she has to let everyone know. It really just makes her look like a fool.
Carrie is so not sweet. I heard her on the radio talking about Jessica and tony and she practically called Tony stupid for going out with Tony. It was so cringeworthy -That is when I realised she is a bitch through and through. I'll try find it. I completely believe she would call Jessica fat and I still think she should not have made that Allure comment about someone else's boyfriend.
Brenda3, I listened to the whole interview and no where did Carrie say anything derogative about either Tony or Jessica. The DJs were trying to get her to say things and even tried putting words in her mouth but Carrie didn't bit on it. She tried to direct the things at her so that they would not be put on Tony or Jessica. So BACK OFF!

Have heard enough rumors about Carrie Underwood to give me pause and think this could have happened . . . though if she intended for the "friend" to out the comment in the tabs just to continue her jabs toward Jessica, it can't help but backfire. Carrie's coming off as mean, Jessica is coming off as a little lost and insecure, and neither one of them are being helped by any of this. Keep your business to yourselves, girls, and get on with your lives. Oh, and Jessica is not fat. Carrie is, however, underweight.

FICTION. According to a CMT reporter Carrie was vacationing in Europe last week so she probably hasn't even seen last week's People. Carrie's bent over backwards to defend people like Faith Hill, Leann Rimes, and Miranda Lambert. She's good friends with Kellie Pickler who always talks about how sweet Carrie is. Taylor Swift said Carrie's the one person who doesn't say bad things about anybody no matter what they've said about her. This is just OK magazine being bitter that Carrie refuses to participate in any feud story.

Holy cow - I never realized Jessica Simpson had so many supporters!! Anyway, I'm going with Chuckles on this one. I totally think this is fiction. Carrie Underwood doesn't seem like the type to say that at all. I think she comes off as so nice and not at all catty. Also, she seems to want to stay out of the spotlight, unlike Jessica who grabs any attention she can get. And people who unjustly accuse others of having eating disorders should be ashamed of themselves. Eating disorders are a serious problem and not something that should just be thrown around. Just because someone is skinny doesn't make them sick.
Eh, not sure if I should believe it or not. If I HAD to choose - Jessica.
