Elisabeth Hasselbeck & Eric Mabius At A Disney Event

Elisabeth Hasselbeck and her daughter attended a Disney themed event for Toys-R-Us yesterday afternoon. Eric Mabius from, "Ugly Betty" and his wife were also there and I must say Eric is one fine looking daddy. :)
So, what do you think of the rumors going around that Elisabeth will be leaving, "The View" to get her own show on Fox News? Do you think she has what it takes to pull in an audience doing it alone?

I think it would be a HORRIBLE idea. She has made a LOT of enemies with her political tirades and I, for one, will NOT be watching her show if she leaves. I think she fits well with The View cast and should stay there for a while.
yes i think she should have her own show and get herself away from the jealous bi$%es she works with. those fat old hens are so mean and prejudice towards her. it makes me so angry!!!
I agree. She needs to get away from Barbra, Whoopi and Sherri! They are hateful toward her! So many people dislike her though, so I'm not sure she could carry her own show. I think she's great!
is there any other reason to watch the view other than the fights between them? and no, she doesn't have the star power to carry it alone.
OMG NOOO! Not even the right wing rats that put the vchip into her little closed mind would watch a show with only her on it, although if she was going to have a show that narrow minded suck a$$ Fox News would be the right place for it. Her so called views aren't even her own, just things that have been fed to her and she believes because she read it or heard it somewhere and thinks it'll make her fit in with the other khaki and pearl wearing pta moms. when she argues the only insight she can offer is what she's heard from other people. none of it is her own opinion. I would watch it in a heartbeat. I don't agree with everything she says but she is caring and it's refreshing. She really seems like she wants the best for our country and I like the way she handles opposition.

I would not watch it. Yes she is very passionate about her political views but she is soo into the Republican party it makes her so narrow minded. She will justify things though they are wrong and worrisome about Bush, McCain etc just because she likes them. Its almost ridiculous-though we are just so close to a Depression, war is continuing with no end, families are foreclosing, losing jobs-the president just bails out big companies but doesnt address the American working people is just sad. But she will stick up for him and not agree with how bad things really are! Neither party is perfect, but for an educated girl she just will just be in denial and justify the actions. SHe is just not a fair person-some people get tunnel vision when they are into politics and she is that person. I like shes smart, educated and passionate but its ok to admit that your "preferred party" is not perfect. So her show will surely be one sided.

I almost threw up when I saw her face on this site! I am not a fan of this woman, and will NOT watch her if she leaves the view. I am not a fan of her at all but I love watching her on the view bc she says the most ridiculous things and when someone puts her in her place she cries. And that is great television.

It is absolutely laughable that she is called "closed-minded" simply because she is a Republican, has values, and stands up for what she believes in. Ever heard of "You've got to stand for something or you'll fall for anything?". Yes, it is trendy to be a liberal- never standing for anything- everything is okay, and the government should provide me all sorts of social services to bail me out of all my bad decisions... Give me a break. She is courageous to stand up against all the radical, screaming liberals out there, and against the liberal mush-brained media. Her views represent a great deal of us out there, THINKING, DISCERNING, conservative Republicans. I am happy she is out there getting her voice heard.

GOOD! She needs to get off "The View", AKA if you don't have a liberal view, we wont let you get your two cents in. Over it. I can't even watch it anymore. It would be nice if they could balance out the show with a little more variety in their "views". I think those women are old and angry. The show is more tired than they are....
I would watch her, or at least give her a chance. I'm tired of hearing the same opinions all over the media! There are plenty of conservative women in this country that want to hear from someone that has like-minded opinions.

I don't watch the view cause those women are too combative and whiney. I don't agree with her political views but I give her credit for having the chutzpah for standing up for what she believes in.

I don't watch her show - I am in the UK - but from the quotes I have read from her she is not at all likable. She should not be allowed to use the show to promote her choice of President which I think she has as I saw a clip of a speech she gave praising Cindy McCain, and critising Michelle Obama and referring to the View. I wonder how many of the people praising her for speaking her mind said the same about Rosie O'Donnell when she was on the View?

There is nothing wrong with stating your opinion but she is the only one on the show who will NEVER say a negative thing about the Republican party. She is very closed minded and I'm a Republican saying that!! She gets mad if anyone disagrees with what her party thinks and it was extremely low class and tacky how she put down Michelle Obama while giving a toast for Cindy McCain.
It's not the message but the narrow and the idiotic messanger that makes me embarrassed to be supporting this party.
