Nick Hogan Being Released From Jail Early

Nick Hogan Being Released From Jail Early

Aaaaaand, he's almost out.  It seems like just yesterday that Nick Hogan (Bollea) actually went into jail but he'll be released three months early on October 21st, based off of his good bevahior behind bars.

"They automatically get credits towards early release, and if they
don't do anything bad while they're here, they get to use the credits,"
a jail official who did not want to be identified told People

Previously, ET reported that Bollea was sentenced to eight months in
jail. He was taken directly from the courthouse to the jail to begin
serving his sentence immediately.

That's just the way the system works.  It's not special celebrity treatment.  So do you think Nick served the time he deserved and learned his lesson?

Whether or not he learned his lesson ( I doubt he did ) he's still a douchebag, incapable of taking resposibilty for his actions. Yeah papa Hogan did a great job raising these two.

Just stay away from our West coast highway.

whoa! I totally agree! stay away from the west coast! I have enough douches here and regarding him getting out early...I don't think he learned his lesson.I don't think he will ever realize just how lucky he is that he's not the other guy. I don't think his punishment was right, I think they should have made him be the other guys nurse everyday until he recuperates or passes away. I think that would have been a better punishment and made him realize the severity of the situation.

What a disgusting, little, stoop-shouldered, jawless pig. I despise the mere sight of him. He's no man, he's a weak poseur who has an insect brain. I take that back, bugs are more intelligent than this waste of air.

served his time...yes. learned his lesson...highly unlikely. unfortunately his passenger is still totally messed up and may never recuperate...so tragic on so many levels.

*Meant to add up there, wonder when he'll get his own show? The networks have no level they won't stoop to for money. *gag*

That poor guy up there on the right is holding his valuables close against him and thinking, "I'll stand here real quiet and maybe those scary people won't notice me! Don't breath, don't move!"

I think he should be lucky he only got 8 months in the first place - and he should be serving ALL of it. I don't think he learned his lesson, even on Brookes show she says, "He didn't MEAN to hurt his bestfriend, he loved John, he would never intentionally hurt him."
What NONE of them understand is that he got into the car intoxicated and was speeding. Both of those were HIS choices and he risked hurting himself and ANYONE else who was in the car. Of course he probably would never have hurt John on purpose BUT his decisions that HE MADE caused permanent damage to his friend. His whole family behind him saying oh this is soooo terrible, you did no wrong, you don't deserve this - so I'm sure he did NOT learn his lesson. So wrong.

Not that I'm taking Nick's side, because I'm DEFINITELY not, but wasn't the other guy not wearing his seatbelt? I thought I read that.

Nick is an idoit regardless and I doubt he learned his lesson at all.

I agree with Hera. Wasn't phone conversation posted where Nick was asking about getting a show once he was out? I guess we will all see when the time comes.

I live in the area that Nick crashed! He was wrong for what he did and im sure that he is sorry about the turn out but im pretty sure he didnt learn his lesson. I dont know how much you guys have researched this but months before the accident Nick was pulled over 3 time in one night on his way from Miami to Tampa. 3 times he was pulled over and 2 of the 3 times he was pulled for going OVER 100 MPH!!!! And each cop that pulled him over let him go with a warning. The law down here states that going 30 over could result in jail time. So he got pulled over 2 times going 30 over. Why wasn't he put in jail then and why did they let him off with a warning 3 FREAKING TIMES!!!! Can't we blame those cops for this????

even though john didn't use seat belt...it is still nick as a driver responsible to ensure everybody is wearing seat belt! if i was a driver i would tell the passenger to either wear it or get out. I'm not taking chances.

I think he got the same sentence anyone else would have gotten, with no prior record. And the good time credits, are what everyone else gets. He should get them too.
I doubt he learned his lesson, although you never know how big boy jail affected him. Time will tell.
I believe he really loved his friend and in no way did anything on purpose. But when two people are involved in something together, drag racing-drinking-having a good time. You cannot totally just blame Nick. I feel sorry for his friend, but part of the blame comes with himself. He was right there, laughing and drinking and not wearing a seat belt. So yes, even though he wasn't driving, he was still enjoying himself. And if Nick was pulled over at least three times the same evening, and John was the passenger and never got out, then he does share responsibility.
It is very sad, the outcome. But when you act irresponsible, then things can happen.

Oh yeah 5 months for ruining some poor kids life, that sounds fair. It's pathetic if that is how the American Justice systems works.

On another note has anyone ever seen Family Jewels ? Those kids and so nice and responsible. Seriously watch it those kids are so respectful and well behaved, it made me love the show. Ha I'm saying kids like I"m so much older than them, I'm not.

o yeah, learned his lesson, yeah right!!!
He's just going to use his "time served" as bragging rights. Next thing you know, he's making some type of music about it or making cameos in videos. He's just gonna use it to try to get some type of fame.

I'm not saying either side is right. As a mother to a teenager I can say with confidence, they are just kids! They don't always make the right choices. That is why we are responsible for these kids till they are 18. If anyone is truly to blame here it's the parents. His father bought and gave him the alcohol. His father gave him that car. His parents let him go out cruising and racing that night. He was under his parents supervision.

Raise your kids to be law abiding kids!

I'm sure his learned his lesson, it was a tragic accident and big mistake by Nicks part his young, he will forver pay for his mistake so long as his freidn is in the state his in no one can feel what he feels or feel as bad as he does so the bashing should stop.

He should give interviews and use this to show one small mistake or lack of judgement can lead to a life time of pay, be resposible his in a postion of influence why not use it for good.
