Let's Talk Celebrity Hair Color

The winter months are slowly creeping up on us which means celebrities will begin to tone down the blonde and go with richer, darker colors. Rumer Willis hinted she was going red at Teen Vogue's Young Hollywood partywhen she showed off a new short do. But yesterday, she went all the way with Ashlee Simpson/ Wynonna Judd red extensions and color job. Meanwhile, Geri Halliwell surprised us all with the loss of red at her book signing for "Ugenia Lavender" at Harrod's.

What do you think about the new looks? Love them or hate them? And is going darker something you do for this season as well?

The kid should be in college instead of the hair salon. A mind is a terrible thing to waste.

I just don't get it. For a red carpet event... maybe. But why would you want STRAW for hair on a normal day to day basis??? The short, dramatic, DARK look was best for her.

When is this girl going to learn that no matter what hair color she chooses, she can't hide or change her ugly face. Rumer keeps trying to change her hair, because she can't change her face or huge chin. I bet those expensive salons that charge the daughter of Hollywood riches actors, chuckle behind her back. I bet they tell her how great she looks and then laugh at her when she leaves.

I think it is ridiculous to change your hair color to go along with the seasons!

Rumer's longer hair actually downplays her dramatic features. Looks good!

i like the color but it looked SOOOOoo much better short. those extensions look like straw. she's going to destroy her real hair.

Geri should never change the colour of her hair - now she looks so boring! Rumor look like an uglier version of Ashlee Simpsons. She is trying way too hard.

I liked the ashy brown colour Rumer had earlier... the red is a bit much.

I don't think Geri looks good without some red, though.

I don't change my haircolour to the seasons.. my hair is really pale, and my skin looks horrible if it is any darker.

hate the red. not crazy about the dark brown either.

I guess Im a little odd one. Ive always changed my hair colour to red during the summer and I tend to go darker also in the summer. But I tend to go lighter in the winter.
And Rumor's hair looks like crap. if it was curly I could see it being okay. but I dont dig perfectly straight red hair ever on anyone.

she could have her jaw broken and have reconstructive surgery, it's not like she doesn't have options

it really does appear that she's single-white-femaling ashlee. i think she looks much cuter with short black hair.
