Name Some Great Stores No One Is Shopping In

The end part of this video got cut off. The question is:

Name some stores you frequently shop in that other people sleep on. I am dying to hear what everyone says. Kohls was a great find for me.

Aldo and Aldo Accessories and then Ebay. That's it for me!!!!! Shoes, accessories, and then everything else in those three places... I spend FORTUNES in each place. But typically, I really don't shop anywhere in particular. I more just go with the flow and if I see something I like, I'll probably buy it no matter what the store.

oh, BTW, I effin' LOVE H&M. GREAAAAAAAAT store. It's so cheap yet so stylish! Kohl's is not in Canada. Never been in one and probably won't ever for that reason. Plus, I'm not a fan of department stores. Their clothes are sooo generic.

Vera I LOVE watching your video blogs please don't ever stop doing them, they're my little wind-down stress reliever at the end of a long day at work.
I couldn't stop laughing at 'HELLO ROOTS!!" half way through your speech about stores hahaha.
I too discovered Kohls on a recent trip to the states (I'm from Canada) it's awsome, my husband and I got a lot of our work clothes there.

Kohls is good, but watch out, they mark up to mark down for sales, so keep an eye, and bring a senior on tuesdays and you get an extra 15% here anyway. Everything there goes for 40% off at some point on one day sales, so learn the store, and get to know a clerk who can give you the skinny. And hey, buy the day before, then return and rebuy when it is on sale and no one got your stuff before you could snatch it. Vera Wang is there!

My steal is Burlington Coat Factory. Don't know if they are around there, but they rock. They used to not allow returns for cash, now they do, so it is better. I have great luck on undies, and shoes, and basically all accessories. I picked up a few cute mod seventies swing a line dresses for the summer I absolutely lived in. They get a lot of BCBG, Calvin, Baby Phat, not my thing, but it is for some, and some other great names. It is hit or miss, but I can always find something!

I like Kohl's and Penny's. I have a very tall hubby(6'6") and he can only wear talls. They both carry talls for him. I get some good buys on jewelry for myself at Kohl's. I also love Crate and Barrel for my home. Most of my house is decorated in furniture and accessories from Crate and Barrel.

I worked at a Kohl's for a while when I first decided to quit my full time jopb and stay home with my kids (just for time out of the house). The employee discount rocked my world. haha. I'm glad you discovered it, Vera. It's pretty awesome. Especially for those of us who don't have access to the fantastic shops that you have near you!

Vera, you're so fun - love the videos. It makes me want to hang out with ya! Anyway, these are not clothing stores, but I spend a lot of time and money at Borders and at CVS. Shame on me!
I need to find some new clothing stores....oh! Just thought of one. It's a very trashy chain out here in SoCal - Susie's Deals. The reason I mention it is because I get jeans and leggings there for $5 a pair and you can get name brand overstocks for dirt cheap. I snagged a couple Liz Clairborne shirts for $6 recently. Embarrassing to shop there? Sure.
Btw, your video makes me want to go to Kohl's tomorrow :)

Rainbow and Dots! I remember buying sparkly jeans when I was in middle school at Rainbow, but I haven't been in one since about a month ago. They look pretty 'trashy' from the outside, but they have amazing clothes that are cheaper than forever 21! They both sell peacoats for $30! ...cute ones!
