Travis Barker Is Investing In A Tour Bus

Shanna Moakler sat down and did her first interview since Travis Barker's plane crash, and she says that he will definitely be investing in a tour bus so that he no longer has to fly to gigs.  Can anyone blame him?  Guess he is not ready to get right back on the horse like DJ AM.

"He is starting to exercise, do therapy. So hopefully we will see a big
AM/Travis show in the future," says Moakler. "We're probably not going
to be flying anytime soon, at all... we are going to invest in a tour
bus."

i understand his fears, but a tour bus can be just as deadly.

She already did an interview since the accident, saying she was supposed to be on the plane and blah blah blah, "me me me." So this isn't her first interview since the accident. I hate when people try to make other people's tragedies or experiences about themselves- it's totally tacky. So many people do it too.

First off, I'm with Shel. I cannot STAND this self-absorbed chick. However, my question is this: Why does she include herself in everything Travis does? He made it clear within the last month that she is his EX wife. It is no longer "WE" it is HIM. Ugh, annoying!!

Yeah "we're investing"......please every dollar she uses is HIS...give me a break.

I know what he went through was traumatic, but was his plane ever airborne. I thought the tire blew which caused them crash. This is like getting into a bad car accident. I think the best thing for him to do would be to fly again. There is nothing to fear but fear itself.

Shanna has done tons of interviews and statements. It's extremely annoying and tacky that she's milking such a tragedy for her own publicity.

I understand completely where TB is coming from. I've been on 2 planes that came close to going down. One because the pilot couldn't land the commercial jet on the small runway at Reno. He panicked and announced that we were about to run out of fuel and that he couldn't get the plane down. The second time, we lost a couple of engines and were having problems with the remaining engines over the Atlantic. The pilot lowered the altitude from 42000 ft and we flew very close to the water trying to get to an airport. The FAs put up all the drink carts and told us how to use our seats for floatation if we landed/crashed in the ocean. Everyone on board was praying and asking each other if we would make it. Very, very scary. The last time we were flying in a helicopter in the Grand Canyon and another tour heli hit the side of the canyon and exploded. Everybody was killed. I haven't flown since then (2003).

I will fly again one of these days, but not right now, I feel safer on the ground (even though I know that flying on a commercial jet is safer). BTW, general aviation is just as deadly, if not worse, than traveling by car. Around 45-50K people are killed every year in private planes, corporate jets, helicopters, etc. When the statistics "say" that flying is safer, that means commercial (Delta, Southwest, etc.) only.
