Ooh! He would make a tasty Edward. I also liked...uh...Jesse Bradford (sorry, his name was failing me). Mr. Pattinson? Not so much. Just because the author spent so much time describing how beautiful and flawless he was, and I when I saw who the chose I thought, "Hmph. Now there's an interesting choice." And don't even GET me started on who they got for Jacob! But yes! I concur!

I really like Henry Cavill, who, as I understand, was the original choice until he got too old to play the role. He would have been amazing I think.
I'm perfectly happy with Robert Pattinson though. I think he is really under appreciated.

Good choice Vera, I've liked Jensen since he was on Days of Our Lives way back. I have not read the Twilight books yet, but I'm getting pulled into the hype so they are next on my list!

I had a hard time picturing anyone as Edward. But Rob's version of Edward has grown on me quite well. Jensen is a hottie but I think he'd be too old to play the character of a "frozen 17 year old". It'll be interesting to see how fast they shoot the movies so that there isn't a lot of visible "aging" in any of the vamp characters. 12 more days!!!

Rob Pattinson was in my head for the part even before they cast him. SUCH a fan of his since harry potter and how to be! He's perfect for the part. Not a typical hollywood pretty boy. He looks kind of awkward and scruffy EXACTLY my type. And he makes such a pretty vampire. LOVE HIM
