Use a shampoo w/o sulfate (burts bees I think is, I use lanza (from salon)). Sulfate strips color. Red also fades the fastest. I use sulfate free shampoo and mousse and it helps my hair not to fade. Still have red highlights from May and my hair is dark!

I like the dark. It is a nice winter color and looks good on you. My skin tone is too light to go that dark. My natural color is brown with some red highlights that pretty much only can be seen in the sunlight. I haven't seen my natural color in years. I colored my hair reddish blonde once and called my hubby at work after I did it and told him he was sleeping with a redhead tonight.

I am laughing so hard. Yes, your dominent hand has more muscle development, so the ring size is usually a size or two larger on that hand. I thought your hair was getting lighter too! But I really like the new color! Your eyes really pop, and stand out, your dh will get used to it. Change freaks out men. You look great.
