Twilight's Sequel New Moon Gets Green Light From Summit

Twilight's Sequel New Moon Gets Green Light From Summit

I started to write this post at about 8 in the morning but then passed out with excitement. Two hours later, here we are.

An INO reader emailed me a link to a Twilight site that had a copy of a fan email "from" Rob Pattinson claiming that New Moon is a GO! Not that we didn't know that already, but YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How could they NOT make the sequel considering estimates have Twilight banking over $70 million this weekend alone!!?

I am SO excited!

In other news, WHO SAW IT??? I am going tomorrow at 7 with 50 women from my town and I literally can't wait! We rented the entire theatre out and ordered in food and drinks. We do it once a month as a way to get out of the house and this week's movie is probably the one I am most excited about since I joined.

Thanks Heather!

we went and saw the movie friday at 5:30, first showing in our town. me and my oldest daughter are going back today to see it again! she talked me into it. the movie did the book justice. it stayed very close to the book and we loved it. at the end, my daughter wouldn't get out of her seat. twilight obsessed!!!!!!!!

I liked the movie alot. I thought for the budget and time that they had, it was fantastic. I think the next ones will be better; they will know what to expect and they might have a bigger budget because of how well this one did. I can't wait till New Moon comes out. I have to say that the books were definitly better than the movie though. I stilled liked the movie!!!

i saw the movie last night...i adore the books & i am so in love with robert pattinson, however the movie has its issuesthat i hope get improved on in the next one.... i wont go into what i didnt like & what not, so as not to ruin it for anyone, but overall i was pleased & very entertained. my poor husband had to suffer through it through & he kept leaning his head back against the seat & rolling his eyes, its funny though because his issues with the movie were similar to mine & he isnt even a fan.

ha my boyfriend suffered too !!! i asked him how much did he liked it after seeing it and he just told me straight up I DIDN'T !! he hadn't read the book and he tought it was a ''real'' vampire movie .... so poor him !!!

Not as great as the book and the sequencing is different but it's still a great movie. I will be seeing it again Tuesday night.

I friggin loved it. I saw it Friday and hadn't read the book yet, I don't like seeing movies after a book I've loved, so I waited. And I thought it was great, it has all the problems everyone says it does, cheesy, generic, but it's great, loved it! And the chemistry, holy crap. And Robert Pattinson, holy crap.

I saw it on Thurs. and again on Sat. (yesterday) because I just had to support New Moon and Eclipse. I've read Twilight 5x memorizing the lines and imagining in my head how it would be played out. I thought overall it was okay but not great for a book's adaptation. I think HP movie adaptation is better but then again, Warner Bros., has an unlimited budget. lol

Summit spent $50 million on Twilight and I hope with New Moon, the money will be spent on Edward's sparkles and fx. It was very... lmao and cheesy imho. Still seeing RPattz all pale and brooding (first time I saw it, my friend was lol bc she thought he was constipated... second time, less constipated) made up for it. I love him but Kristen as Bella in certain scenes, she never once shed a tear in the emotional parts. Instead she either looks frustrated/angry or having a seizuire. *sigh* Her comedic timing was better in this one.

BUT the Biology scene was perfect. Catherine gets super hugs from me bc that's exactly how I saw it.

I went to see it on friday with my three girls... we had mixed reviews on the movie due to a couple of changes in the sequence and the combining of scenes. I will say go with an open mind and do not compare it to the book...You will enjoy it better that way. I wish I was told that before i went to see it. I kept over-analyzing the scenes..haha. I am sooo Excited for new moon! I think Jacob will carry the film very well he totally stole the scenes in Twilight. I started as team Edward and ended up in team Jacob!...ENJOY THE FILM! I might see it again and hope i can enjoy it as its own entity.

I read all four books but have not yet seen the movie (have a date with my little sister for next Sat!) and Im very excited to see it. I loved reading the books, but out of all of them, New Moon was my least favorite. Its not what people expect, and it was just disappointing. But Im sure the movie will do amazingly well just like the first one!

I'm going to see if for the second time tonight. :) I got this email yesterday and was pretty ecstatic. I hope they do it a little more justice since they will probably be working with a bigger budget. ;)

I love love loved the movie! For a small budget film - it was great. I just wish they had of stretched it a little longer for some more character development...but I have no doubt that now that it is a HUGE blockbuster...the New Moon movie will be dynamite!!! I don't know what to do with myself now...Twilight obsessed...

My daughter is a big fan of the Twilight series, she has read all the books and shen just can't wait to get her hands on Midnight Sun. I took her and her cousins to see the movie on Friday and llike someone who commented on here the 4 of them didn't want to get out of their seats they just wanted more. I have not read any of the books so I came with no knowledge of who Bella/Edward were ... the movie was cheesy to me and a bit A&F posing ... lol ... but I just love all the corny lines ... I wish I could be someone's personal heroin ... lol ... I started reading New Moon want more corny lines ... I love corny .... Taking dd again this weekend to see it again she needs one more fix ... lol ....
