Gordon Grovels

The saga continues.  Following Sarah Symonds' claim that she has been celebrity chef Gordon Ramsey's mistress for the past 7 years, Gordon gave his wife, Tana Ramsey, a "grovelling apology."  An anonymous source told UK's Daily Mail that Gordon admitted knowing Sarah Symonds and that they had met four times.

While the chef refused to apologise directly for any affair, a
source told The Daily Mirror Ramsay said: 'I'm so sorry I've put Tana
through this.  'I've apologised to her and I feel  absolutely dreadful. She really doesn't deserve all this grief.''

Hmm.   Refused to apologize directly for any affair?  Then what is he apologizing for, exactly?

The source added: 'He is so remorseful over putting her and the kids
through such an ordeal. He's also very angry . He says a lot of it is
complete b******'."

"Hell's Kitchen" is one of my guilty pleasures in the summer, so I've seen Gordon Ramsey in action.  He doesn't strike me as the type of guy who would apologize for something he didn't even do.  But then again, they do say reality TV isn't really reality, don't they?

Sarah Symonds continues to insist that she is telling the truth and claims that she can identify an "intimate scar" on his body.

Regardless, Gordon and Tana have reportedly "pledged to save their twelve year marriage."  Apparently to that end, the couple have appeared together in public, and Tana has continued her daily routine.

[Tana has] gone about her motherly duties in a one carefully chosen dressed-down designer outfit after another. It was almost as if she was trying to make a well-aimed point about
being the unruffled head of the Ramsay household when she considerably
stepped up the pace and wore three understated designer sets during her
daytime activities yesterday."

Something tells me this sage isn't over yet.  Someone should warn Gordon "I won't apologize directly for any affair" Ramsey about this before Sarah continues to make her case in the media with more "intimate details."  That is of course assuming Sarah is the one telling the truth.

I did not have sexual relations with that woman!!

This reminds me of so many famous husbands who have been caught having affairs.  Will they never learn to just fess up immediately?

Most cheaters will never admit they were cheating. But then according to marriage therapists, lying and cheating go hand-in-hand, so there you go. I never liked the guy anyway and now I know why. One more good reason to not watch his show. If he's not capable of conducting his personal life with honesty, then anything he tries to sell me professionally will also be bull.

What kind of scoundrel cheats on his wife....and what kind of skank sleeps with a married man?It seems no one honors their marriage vows anymore....adultery is wrong no matter what and it's always the innocent children who suffer the most.

yes, nobody today has any kind of respect for their marriages or marriages of other people. that's why the divorce rate is so high. hollywood just encourages infidelity and promote this kind of behavior. i wouldn't be surprised if his mistress linked this to the press. also, tana can try to get him to pledge to do whatever she wants but he still won't keep his penis in his pants. he didn't the first time he got caught and he won't this time.

The other woman...hmmm..they all start out not wanting a thing from the married man. They are so independant that they don't need him more than a few times a week...

Then miraculously when it doesn't go "their" way then they decide to go public or call the wife.

If I recall it was the other woman who knew the man she was seeing was married, so if you can't play by the rules for the entire time of the affair (which is to keep your mouth shut) then don't play the game. Don't find your "morals" after the married man doesn't leave his wife for you.

The problem with people who cheat? They never imagine life down the road a few months into this. The heartache they will cause, the embarrassment of it all and the numerous lies they end up telling. Their word is shit in the eyes of many for years to come.

If they would only think of this before starting an affair they might save themselves from being a total tool.

Want sex with someone else? GET DIVORCED.

I could understand being sorry for a fling, or a one night stand. I'd still be as mad as heck but things happen. But when someone has been cheating on you for seven of the 12 years you've been married a groveling apology just ain't gonna cut it. May Mrs Ramsay kick this idiot to the curb and empty his wallet on the trip there.
