Newlywed Beyonce Scared Of Childbirth

Newlywed Beyonce Scared Of Childbirth

Cadillac Records star Beyonce may have been ready to commit to marriage to long-time boyfriend Jay-Z last April, but she's in no rush to start a family after witnessing the miracle of childbirth.  Beyonce is on the cover of the January 2009 issue of Elle magazine and spoke to them about her family plans (or lack thereof).

'I'm terrified of delivering a child because I saw my nephew
being born. That traumatised me.

'At the hospital, my sister said: 'Girl, you better come on in here'. I
told her: 'No one should see that before their time'. I told Solange:
'Please don't do this to me'.

"But Solange did. 'Oh my. Whooo'."

Beyonce also pointed out that at age 27, she "has time."  I guess Solange forgot to tell her the lie about how she would forget all about it afterwards?  I'm sure Beyonce will come around and focus on how incredible it will be to have children of her own when she's ready.

It's understandable; it *REALLY* hurts! Carol Burnett once said it feels like pulling your lips back over your head. It's also like crapping out a football, or like having a tire-iron pry open your nether-regions and then turning a blow-torch on. That pretty well describes what it feels like!
I had imagined the worst pain possible and in reality it ended up over 100 times worse!

It really is the worst pain you could imagine. It's like a pressure of some sorts that just cannot be descrived but not like pulling your lips over your head!

Me TOO. I want to be a doctor so I have shadowed a bunch of them. Recently, I followed an OB/GYN around for the entire day and saw about 5 women give birth. Once I walked out of that hospital, I was re-thinking ever having children. Hell, I could feel their pain and I was just standing there watching.

I was there for my sister when she had her 2 kids and I feel the exact same way. If I really get baby fever, I'll look into adoption. Otherwise, no thanks.

That girl is so beautiful and perfectly put together she looks just like a barbie doll!
As for giving birth, it has to be the right time and situation. When you want motherhood, there are few things that can deter you from it and few fears you'll actually acknowledge in the face of that wonderous biological clock. She's obviously just not ready yet and yeah, she's got lots of time!

LOL Yes, it's an incredibly sh!tty experience but it's so true what they say, that you forget about it once they're born. Everyone knows this and that's why we continue having babies. Plus, we women are strong. Imagine if guys had to give birth? That would be the end of the human race, no doubt!

What? I never forgot about it!!It hurts so bad it's ingrained into my mind forever!!
It's true about the guys though, I would love to see a MAN in labour!! he'd be begging to be knocked out after the first contraction! It would be so painful he'd tell all the other guys how much it hurts and no one else would even try it after that! ha ha!

With all of the money her and Jayz have, she could always hire a surogate. Some people feel that's what Nicole Kidman did.

I dont blame her for a second. You and your body are never the same again and for some of us women thats just how it goes, we dont want it. I patiently await the day when us'non breeding' types will not be frowned upon.

what she should be scared of is her weave. Heck, it seems that her child is already in that weave ready to burst out any moment now.

Beyonce is a strong woman that I'm sure she will come around in time. But on another note why is she all of the sudden so chatty with the press as of late?

strong woman? she is commercialized machine/velontriquist doll and her PR created that ''strong image''. What a joke! You know who are strong women? Those that work 2 jobs, do not complain about giving birth, study to get a useful profession, and take care of families. Strong women walk everyday pass you, but you look at tv screen to see pampered crap that call her self ''strong woman''

I really don't see a big deal with this at all. I had a very pleasant experience with mine. In fact it was very liberating for me. I think a lot of people are exaggerating.

Anonymous Anonymous said:

are you serious? exaggerating? child birth is a very painful experience and some women have a difficult time. i should know because i am an RN. i have see babies born within five minutes of the mother arriving and others are in labor for hours. it doesn't mean they are exaggerating, for some it is truely the hardest thing that they will ever do. and i could definitely see how some of these young girls/women would be turned off by it. some of those women go through hell, but once it is all over they always see that is was worth it. also, for a lot of women, the second time around is always easier.

HA with those big as$ hips of hers she needn't worry she won't even notice them come out!

Hentai Lover Hentai Lover said:

Hey were are all the women who were shouting what a miracle it is to have babies? they must not be here cause they didn't complain about the pain. And I wish there were more women that don't want kids, this world is over populated as is. And if big hips Beyonce is worried about her after body pregnancy then she really shouldn't even be considering having kids that's got to be the most selfish thing to think...what will my body look like afterwards? those kids are gonna e but ugly anyway with that camel looking guy she has for a husband eeeww.

Jesus, people like to exaggerate!! Please, I gave birth to my baby when I was 16, I was TOTALLY scared and yes, it hurt like hell, but whatever, after it ends you just forget about it.

Anonymous Anonymous said:

exaggerate?? are you serious? i have seen plenty of women give birth and for some it is a piece of cake and for others it was probably the hardest thing they have ever done. just because something wasn't painful to you, doesn't mean it wasn't painful for somebody else. god, i wish everyone could only be as strong as you.

I didn't say it wasn't painful! But I don't understand why 90% of the women I talk to make it look like an horror movie. I think it is plain stupid, it just makes other women even more scared.

its called an epidural!! everyone i know who has had one says giving birth is still obviously scary, but not nearly as painful or traumatic as it has to be...in fact they all had great experiences even though it was still uncomfortable before they were administered the epidural. i think everyone has that same fear, its normal, but fear of pain shouldnt stop you from having children if thats what you truly want. i am sure with all the emotional stress & worry that children bring to you, the temporary pain of labor & birth is not so bad in the long run.

Anonymous Anonymous said:

I think she just want to be drammatic and stay what she thinks, relevant. Why can't celebs keep their stupid talk to a minimum? This is junior high conversation. But then again, who thinks this woaman has any brains? They have been suffocated by her horrid weave already. Oh, and to those who think her IQ equates to money in the bank--you are soooooooo wrong. Hollywood trash has money but barely any brains. They are just puppets.

I gave birth to twins, but I had an epidural, so the giving birth part wasn't that bad. I did feel a lot of the contractions, though, on my left side because I'd had back surgery a couple of years earlier.

Giving birth is hard work, it's labour!! I once heard it compared to "a wet
St. Bernard trying to squeeze through the cat door". LOL

I would do it again in a heartbeat if I wanted more kids. But I don't. Because mine are 8-years-old now and I've noticed how utterly annoying toddlers and babies are.

Anonymous Anonymous said:

yes, giving birth is hard work. that's why i laugh at the dumb comments saying women are exaggerating. and, just like you, many women have to considered other factors while giving birth. my sister is 8 months along and she has scolosis. a couple of yrs ago, she had her first back surgery. she is very worried about not being able to get the epidural or if everything will be okay with her back because it has giving her hell.

That is a completely different matter, it involves other health issues. As far as anyone knows, Solange's deliveries were pretty normal, which is why I can't understand why Beyonce - a 27 yr old woman - is saying that. It's life. And celebs most likely don't go for natural birth.

at least it wasnt abortion? bitch please.....we NEED more of them...instead of these ignorant bitches thinking it's cute to have a baby as a fashion accesory at 16 and then ok, maybe another 2 or 5 since I get welfare money. Keep your nasty snatchfruit out of this world...adopt an animal....fuck YOU..abortions for all!!!!

well, you know, SINCE I AM NOT AMERICAN, no, here we don't have babies because of welfare money (which I don't even need, in fact). It's a matter of responsability: it happens, you get the consequences. Not everyone is a juno-oh-i'm-giving-away-my-kid-for-adoption. I feel sorry for the Spears girls for living in a country full of such mean people like you.
