Katie Holmes Wants To Spend Christmas In NYC
The Daily Mail is reporting that Katie Holmes wants to spend Christmas in NYC. She's done with the coast to coast traveling especially while she is still working hard on stage for the Broadway play, All My Sons. Luckily, Tom Cruise has aggreed and even made arrangements for both their families to join them in The Big Apple for the holidays. Should be a fun time!
‘She has been doing loads of traveling back and forth with Suri from New York to LA between shows and she’s tired. She asked Tom over to New York for Christmas and he agreed. Both their families are also coming over.
Will Katie try to convince Tom NY should be their permanant home? The Mail's source seems to think so.
‘Katie would prefer to live in New York. She and Tom have been leading increasingly separate lives.’
Do you travel for the holidays? All my family lives within 25 miles from my house, so I've never had to do it.

When the kids were small we would travel back to Illinois for Christmas every year. That is where we are from and where our parents live. Once they got in high school, we stopped doing that. Hubby'sparents visit us now over Christmas about every 2 years or so. One of our daughter's lives in another state and she and her hubby switch off every other year as to where they spend Christmas. This is our year. Next year is NOT our year, so we are going there for Christmas. We can't miss baby's first Christmas.

I like Katie Holmes and I think Suri is a cutie pie, but she never seems to be dressed warm enough to me. I don't know maybe it's just me.

I don't get why people say so-and-so celebrity is famous for nothing. Paris Hilton maybe, but people like Katie or Jennifer Aniston? Where do you set the bar for being famous for something? You know what? I loved watching Dawson's Creek and Friends, so for me they are famous for "something." Does any celebrity pass your high fame standards?

The Katie Holmes stuff doesn't bother me that much, Vera. And I think it is so cute that to me (a Texan) you are like the stereotypical (in a GREAT way) Long (Lawng) Island girl with the thick accent, the great clothes, the ever present in-laws and parents, and tons of family within 25 miles. It is always so fun to see your pictures. You have a fun, full, life, it seems! :-)
