My Christmas Wish: that Brad & Angie STOP telling us every little tiny detail of their lives for a while. Seriously, ENOUGH. Do they give ten interviews a day? It makes me crazy. They are both talented and generous and all that jazz but seriously I am so burned out on hearing about their personal life.

I didn't know Shiloh was from Namibia but well, if he says it, I guess she is LOL. To meme, ya, you're right, it takes more than money to have kids. As far the whole Brangelina thing, I don't know what to think. I really don't want to judge them as parents but I can talk by experience. My husband grew up in many different countries till he was 18 years old. And he keeps telling me how hard is it now (he is in his 30's) for him because when he is asked where he is from, he doesn't even know the answer. He says that he wishes he had a "hometown" to be proud of like everybody but unfortunately he doesn't know which city he's been to is his hometown. His parents were missionaries who dedicated their lives to help poor people all over the world so they took their kids with them everywhere. My hubby says that it's fun to visit so many countries but at the end of day, you want to know where your roots are. He's been living in one country since he was 18 only cause both parents died. Just a thought!

He and Angelina seem very into the ethnicities of the children- I like how they refer to them by their countries of origin rather than their names or any personal qualities. I think its wonderful that two wealthy people decided to give several children a chance and access to tremendous resources but I just get the sensation that these adoptions have an international collector quality to them rather than any actual depth of warmth for their children. I also doubt Brad Pitt knew where the continent of Africa was before he met her. They both come off as soooo smug about their domestic bliss and their international "awareness" whenever they give interviews!

I think they jut try to foster interest in the kids about where they are from. I know my own parents did this with my internationally adopted brother and his home country of Mexico. Its hard for adopted children who look different from their parents, sometimes they can feel between two cultures, I think.

I agree with diana82. I think kids need structure and a routine, and I think their kids get a lot less of that than most kids. But hey, whatever. They'll continue to adopt and have more despite what anyone says.
I can't stand them. They are SO annoying! I wish this "woman" as 20 kids and I will seat back and hear all about the chaos in a few years.

I watched the interview it was the one with Ann Curry and he didn´t say that Shiloh was from Namibia he said she was born in Namibia and then he continued saying the twins who were born in France. And btw. the interview is from the beginning of December so not so recently
I think its wonderful what they have done with their lives, I wish I had the can of money that would afford me to adopt children all over the world,, I love children, and I love people of the world,, and of different cultures.. They are a very blessed and lucky family

I still think they treat their adoptions like they are planning a zoo. Why don't they also adopt a baby from a developed 1st world country? There are a lot of babies in institutions too. They may not be dying from starvation, ok, but they don't have much of a chance either.
At least, he admits it's selfish.
But I think it's wonderful that they are giving them a chance to live. I hope the kids make it right when they grow up.
oh please the mouse guy/girl, listen brad and angie did more than most. some like them adopted more kids too in hollywood like this two famous prouducers. Instead of you side bash JP's for it , may be you should tell other stars who wants to have their kids bio only to consider adopting since they have the means and the time.

As meme, diana82 and Sporky wrote, it takes more than money...those kids need routine, structure and lots and lots of love and attention, on a consistent basis. And Brad, they are going to need more as they grow older, so just because you can manage 6 kids under the age of 10 doesn't mean you can effectively parent 8 teenagers. Whole different ballgame. Idiot.
Idot is you. Have you heard Angie didn't not work no more than 2-3 months a years in the past two years and plans to work less and less in the comming years. Don't you know she took the whole year off this year and after she worked in feburary next year on Salt, she won't work the rest of the year off or more to be with her family? lay off them please.

Some of you surprise me, brad and angie doesn't talk about their kids or their family more than most. Some actually use their kids in every sentence. The difference is , their interview is not reapted by every news orgainzation and every blogs. B and A will always get asked if they want more kids or sometohing about their kids. I read someone here said how many interviews they give? please woman, May be you should check how many interviews other stars give to promote a movie and you will found out brad and angie in the least. I don't understand why people read and complain. Forexample their are 5 posts in this page but thier post got 17 comments and while the rest others get around 10.Yyou can see why thier interviews and everthing they do is so pouplar than most. Not becasue they do more but because for some reason the atteniton you and I give them.BTW angie looks great here. I love her long legs combining with her beautiful face

with both of them it is more about bold statements and political correctness. Brad is a pothead so he is always feeling good. Adopting is great and if you have money it is a bonus. But something is not right in this relationship/adoption game.
Why it is different? because they advocate about it? yes people who care adopt not only they talk about it or bash who people who does. If they only have thier kids bio like many stars you wouldn't be talking about their kids like that. It is a double standard.

There is no possible way for them to have as many biological kids in in the short amount of time they've expanded this family without medical intervention or pure luck. So, they'd be talked about either way.
I can't wait to see how these kids turn out, they are still at the fun age, wait till they have like 13 teenagers at once !!!! Then they'll understand what everyone is talking bad about.

And what "girl from Nambia?" Shiloh is hardly "from" Africa because her stupid parents went there for her to be born. She is the product of two American parents. She might have dual citizenship, but she is not "from" Nambia.
