They are back! I took a few weeks off with contests because they really are a lot of work to do. But it's the new year and I have no more excuses. First up - Top Chef calendars!!
BRAVO’s TOP CHEF: New York Wednesday 1/7 @ 10/9c - In the seventh episode, cooking excellent food takes focus, and the chefs are feeling the pressure after serving up disappointing dishes for Christmas. The heat is on when the Quickfire Challenge demands that the chef’testants create a sweet treat without using any sugar. And when it comes time for elimination, the chef's must serve to an especially judgmental crowd when Toby Young, food critic and best-selling author joins the judges table. Will the chef’testants be able to prove their place in the TOP CHEF kitchen?

Hubby and I love Top Chef! I am always amazed at the chefs' imagination. I love food and hubby is a chef also (he does the majority of the cooking); perfect for us!

I flat out Love Top Chef. Im not much for TV but its pretty much the only thing worth watching. While I think this is he weakest season all the contestants are pretty strong and there is no clear front runner like least year.

ChefWife, The Simple Definition:
chef wife- (noun) a woman in a relationship with- although not necessarily married to- a chef. Usually has two careers, her own and of course that of her chef. Understands terms such as: “doubles”, “PX”, “covers”, and “purveyors”. Doesn’t understand but deals with concepts like: dinner at 2am, chefs that smell like onions and fish, Christmas (and every other holiday alone), callused hands, and mac and cheese dinners at home, and the always prevalent conceited attitude. After all, aren’t they kind of a big deal?

Stefan unfortunately is ballsy enough to think he can turn Jamie straight which, although hillarious, is fascinating in the amount of you know... balls. My favorites will always be Hung and Harold. Ilan was an abomination. Marcel was kind of immature and certainly no Richard in the molecular gastronomy thing but he should have won out of the both of them. And even COLICCHIO said, of someone inexperienced, as examples, "she wasn't in the same league as a Harold or a Sam". FFS.. he shouldve won.
