Love It Or Hate It: Rachel Zoe

If I had one wish, it would be for Rachel Zoe to sprinkle her magic fairy dust on my wardrobe closet and turn all my little pumpkins into stylish pieces of clothing. I just LOVE this woman. Confession: I was probably one of 12 people that watched the first season of her reality show and am proud of it! :)

Here she is shopping on Robertson Boulevard, wearing wedge platform black boots and stopping for a Starbucks' coffee. What do you think about those shoes? And how can I get my hair to do what Rachel's hair is doing?!

I watched her show and I loved it! I feel the same way about this outfit she's wearing...she's an amazing business woman and although I don't always adore the outfits she herself wears, her clients always look amazing. Go Rachel Zoe! :)

I must be watcher number 4! I couldn't figure out how to do that to my hair either, so I cut it.

wow, beauty, even for things or styles, truly is in the eye of the beholder. I have nothing against this lady but her hair looks horrible...all dry and fly-away. Not a big fan of the boots either.

Are we all looking at the same pic? She looks a mess and those boot things are horrible.

Obviously she does not possess a mirror. Tackey! tackey! tackey! Hurts my eyes to look at that mess....baggy knees to her pants, boots that do not properly fit and are too high for her step, hair looks like her pet bird nests in it, just a mess......

They renewed it for a second season, I can't wait! I loved Rachel's show, and I definitely want to see if her assistant, the blonde one, can start acting like a real human being for once.

Not liking the boots, but she can get away with it. I like her too but homegirl needs to do something different with her hair and makeup! And she is too skinny on the show she has a bird chest with bones protruding and a wrinkled face, and didnt she just turn 30??(she needs Restalyne) or eat a cheeseburger! Shes young and looks like an old lady. I think this is how MaryKate will look when shes 30! She is good in the fashion dept, but she needs to work on herself a little!

I'd love to see her walk in those because based on these two photos it looks like she's struggling and has no clue how to walk in those hideous things.

I loved that show! Can't wait for the second season. I do my hair like this, but mine is very long. I'm sure you can do it the same way. I use a curling iron (I think it's 1-1 1/4 inches) and curl all of my hair. Then I spray it with hairspray all around so that it's coated but not crunchy and I let it sit for a minute. Then I gently pull my fingers through my hair like I'm finger-combing it. I put my fingers through the bottom of my hair, not the top (like I would if I was scratching my scalp, if that makes sense) And if it turns out how you want it to (hopefully!) spray the hell out of it :) Hope it helps!

Vera,

I love your hair all glossy and healthy looking! I bet you could get this "day at the beach" look with one of those sea salt sprays--Bumble and Bumble does one that is supposedly pretty good. Let us know how it works if you try it.

I love her style and I really do think she has an excellent talent for styling others... but it's hard to watch her Reality Show. For me, she is from a totally different planet... It's hard to understand where she's coming from. Don't get me wrong though - Ive never missed an episode! ;-)

why is her neck so dang wrinkled

While watching her show I felt she was a very lonely woman. Her husband is very odd and seems like he is tired of their relationship. Rachel has unusual aging ability and seems to be very neurotic and unhealthy. She also looks unclean to me, perhaps because she has so much eye makeup. I donot like her hair and this haircut in general, maybe because it does not look good on me.

Wait, what?! THAT thing is thirty?? You have GOT to be kidding me! I thought she was at LEAST forty. And I was just going to laugh about the grandma toddling along in those terrible shoes, looking like an Olsen wannabe. Hair is terrible, clothes are terrible, makeup is terrible, EAT SOMETHING FOR THE LOVE OF GOD.

Happy New Year all...first let me say I have a pair of these in suede with a lacquer heel and the crowd goes wild when I wear them...they are like from two winters ago...ninewest sale and I bought them because I have weak knees and ankles and have NO business wearing heels...which I do anyway...anywho...love her show...like Janice and the all the housewifes...I have to watch...all the time thinking...are these chics for real...and her relationship with her husband...the most curious thing I've ever beheld...can not take my eyes away...she looks 50 and he looks and acts like he is dying to come out the closet or something...but I do love me some Rachel Zoe...also...she's not a wannabe...she is their stylist so she kinda invented them...but she does look like she would or could use stealing someone's youth...if she gained a few pounds she'd look younger...hey...when you reach a certain age...being skinny does not compliment...isn't that the whole idea between injecting fat into skin or whatever....

I love her Vintage Style and I love her show. She does sometimes look a little old for her 37 years...but if you watch her show you can see why, the woman doesn't hardly sleep or eat. She is just too busy, she does need to slow down a little and take care of herself. :)

The hair is called "wash and wear". You have to have some natural curl to carry it off. It takes me over an hour to get my hair straight. A lot of blow drying and curling iron. I will go with the "wash and wear" look. Baseball caps also work wonders.
