Kanye West Wants To Pose Naked And Have Less Fans
Leave it to Kanye West to give us a good read on a slow Friday afternoon. :) In an interview for Vibe magazine to promote his 808s & Heartbreak album, the hip hop superstar says he wants to get naked and have less fans.
"I made a decision. I wanna make popular music, but I want less fans,"
he told writer Sean Fennessey when asked if he was comfortable with
fame. "I want the freedom of having less fans. It's like the freedom of
having less money. If you have less money, you have less
responsibility. It's like Björk.
If she wanted to pose naked, you'd be like, 'Oh, that's Björk.' But if
I wanted to pose naked, people would draw all type of things into it. I
definitely feel like, in the next however many years, if I work out for
two months, that I'll pose naked. I break every rule and mentality of
hip-hop, of black culture, of American culture."
Does the comment about wanting less fans turn you off at all? It seems like kind of a slap in the face to those who do support him now.

I loved Kanye when he first came out....but now he's so arrogant and always says stupid crap about how he has completely re-made history and re-created hip hop and blahblahblah....so I've been turned off for awhile.

Vera I think most people who are fans love Kanye's music but not him LOL He's pretty obnoxious, but man is he ever talented and creative.
Kanye is very eccentric he always seems to say things that are two sided and that can be easily misinterpreted. I think he's saying that he wants to be viewed as a artist in a different way and having millions and millions of fans has created a persona that he feels does not relate to his artistic goals at this time.
