Jillian Michaels On The View

While Sherri Shepherd COMPLETELY steals the show on this video, I still have to point out that I own the 30 Day Shred after a great recommendation from my best friend. I did it on Friday, and still can't move a muscle this morning... guess I didn't stretch enough (or work out enough in the past 15 years).

Nevertheless, it's 20 minutes and that sounds about right for me.  Here is The Biggest Loser's Jillian Michaels talking about her newest product for purchase.

What equipment do you need to for this video?

a mat

and weights (although I did the workout without the weights and it was good enough). My husband does it with the weights and says it is REALLY good.

Seems like a good workout for those of us who are allergic to the gym.

I am going to order it too! I also recc "Love Your Legs" dvd it is wonderful and all you need is a mat, great toning exercises. The first time I did it I could barely sit down the next day.

I am going to give it a try. Where did you get your's from Vera? Target's workout dvd section is pretty minimal. Barnes and Noble's is kind of pricey but have had to resort to there a few times in the past. Do you also need that bosu ball thing and the cables for the dvd? I have a cable attatched to my smith machine, but you can only work one arm at a time. When it comes to those workout dvd's I usually see what they are doing and then pause it and go at my own pace for the first time or two, if it is something I find more difficult. Like the that bosu ball would probably take me 10 minutes just to get to the point where I wouldn't fall off, let alone do any exercises on it.

Target actually - but it's not in the dvd section. it's in the fitness section. I also picked up a pilates tape and a yoga tape from there. Going to do the pilates one tonight --- i hope.

I got mine from Amazon, cheap. No, you don't need the cables or Bosu. But there is a lot of jumping on all of Jillian's workout videos, which may not be so good if you are in a top floor apartment in an old buillding (like me!). I make the windows shake and the dog downstairs starts barking. LOL

This made me laugh out loud! I am so grateful we are in a house now. I had to sell my treadmill when we lived in an upper/lower house because it shook the whole house. I just started watching Biggest Loser this season and I really am loving it. Between Vera & the show, I'm staying inspired.

Same here, I watched every episode 2 seasons ago. I just couldn't get into the people last season, so I only watched it about 3 times. This season I have watched both episodes. This season has by their heaviest contestants. Bob and Jillian are both easy on the eyes and most of the time the ears. So between the Vera and the show I am getting motivated to get moving. It's hard to believe that Jillian herself was an over weight teen.

Yep, because of the shaking windows I've decided that my at-home workouts should be restricted to yoga.

I don't have cable, so I haven't watched TBL since the first season. I remember being really motivated by it back then, so I am having my parents record it on their digital cable box and then I can watch all the episodes when I go visit them. (and do my jillian workouts)

I've read that last season was hard for a lot of people to watch because a couple of the contestants were horrible. (heba and vicky I think). This season, the contestants seem really supportive of each other so far. I much prefer watching that kind of interaction.

Jillian is awesome. I wish she would just make an iPod recording where she says over and over. PUSH! PUSH! COME ON!

I'd buy it.

i LOVE 30 Day Shred, and so does my husband. It's not a workout for wimps, that's for sure! It's TOUGH and definitely 20 minutes of solid hard work :) But I love that I don't have to go to the gym, and it's just TWENTY minutes! Jillian is my hero. She's all about tough love, which is exactly what I need! "unless you puke, faint or DIE, keep MOVING!!!"

Sherri is actually funny in this!

this would have been better if sherri was not so annoying and trying to be a show sealer and she def needs the help of jillian thats for sure. It could have shawn the folks at home what to do and then jillian could have been able to go through more of her routine but sherri had to try to be funny why ????
