Bowling With The Girls

This weekend was pretty fun (besides the blood shed in the Sweeney household). Saturday morning I took Natalie to a birthday party for a girl in her class. I can't believe she got invited to a classmate's b-day party! I mean, how old is she? Is this happening... UGH. It's going by too fast I swear.
I got to speak to the moms which was nice because we typically only have a few minutes together outside the school while waiting for class to let out. AND I had make up on! Woo Hoo! Yes, I looked human. :)
Then that evening, my husband and I went a town bowling event. Hundreds of people from my neighborhood catered a bowling alley and played for a few hours. SO MUCH FUN! I LOVE that event - too bad it's only once a year.
Today, Bill and I went out to Jersey to see one of my VERY good friend and her family. Always fun to see Marrah. We didn't eat very well, burgers and fries - but I am still a pound less than my goal. So, I gave myself a day off. Then we walked around The Short Hills Mall - WOWOWOWOWOW that was a great walk. I am in love with that place. Thank goodness I don't live near it because it would be so dangerous to my bank account.
I'm sorry if this post made no sense, but I've been hysterically crying watching this week's The Soup... HE IS SO FUNNY! I get through half a sentence and then fall off my couch. I'll tell you one thing... my abs are getting quite the work out. LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sounds like you have a fun neighborhood that does a lot of things together. We haven't seen a pic of you since your weight loss, you should have knocked the other girl out of the way so we could see you better. I agree, malls are a killer for the bank account. The mall near me isn't that old, it looks like a resort with a huge fireplace in the food court area and waterfalls all around. I was there to do some christmas shopping and so many of the smaller store are gone. It was sad. I have never heard of The Soup.

Amy, that's what I was thinking - what a fun neighborhood she lives in! :) I wish my neighborhood was more like that. Glad you had a great weekend (aside from the bloodshed). P.S. There must be something good in your neighborhood water = you are all so adorable and skinny, too. LOL

Amy, the Short Hills Mall really is dangerous to your bank account. Almost all of the shops within are high-end/luxury. I've never actually even bought anything there, way out of my budget.

ahh, mine has Crate & Barrel and Pottery Barn and that's bad enough.

I'm loving the girl in front. Too funny! I had a little splurge myself yesterday. It's like I was waiting for all my beauty products to pile up and I just went hog wild yesterday. I can't believe I spent as much I did!
I had a great time too!! Your kids are GORGEOUS!!!!! Can't wait for our next get together!
