Facebook Is Sometimes Exhausting

Here's a question - do you ignore everything on Facebook? Or do you accept the majority of it? Sometimes I log on (like today), and just can't believe how many applications there are!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Is it disrespectful to ignore group requests etc???

I barely accept any of that stuff. I will accept the bumper stickers & flair because they are fun and make me laugh. The rest of those applications are such a pain. They drive me INSANE. I say just ignore it. The person just usually selects a group of people to send it to, they don't care who does or doesn't accept the things they've sent. ;)

I ignore the majority of the requests as well... I don't understand half that stuff anyway. Plus, "capturinglife" is correct... people don't care who does or doesn't accept the requests. Facebook is supposed to be fun... not overwhelming!!! IGNORE ALL OF THOSE REQUESTS!!!

Same here. I hate Facebook and I never got into it. I had an account open for maybe a month and then closed it down because I was annoyed with it.

I hate how they added all those applications! It's just getting rediculous right now. I usually ignore half of them because it's retarded. You can also have the option of blocking the entire application so people can't send you requests from that application anymore. That REALLY helped my notifications slim down!

Wow, I have never seen someone with that many requests! I don't respond to everything I get, even from some of my best friends, there are just too many applications for people to play with. The only one I do like is the little green patch - I hope it really does help to save the rainforest!

I only really accept the flair and bumper stickers as well. All the green patches and blue cove things get old fast. I do like the shopaholic app though.

I only get a friend request once in a blue moon---that is all. I'm pathetic :(

I reject the ones I don't want to do. If someone gets offended... who cares.

i almost always deny the application requests.
they drive me nuts and make facebook slow to load and hard to navigate. it's not rude or anything. it amazes me people have enough free time to even send those requests...
so ignore away! :)

I reject all those silly time-wasting applications that people send me. I only use facebook for chatting and pictures! Your friends must be way into facebook to have that many applications!! And you're quite popular -- 9 friend requests! haha

I ignore half of them, the person never knows anyways

I only accept friend requests from people I know and I am a total owned addict, but the rest I ignore, people don,' get notified if you ignore their stuff. You will waste half a day accepting all that stuff!! IGNORE!!!!!!

Sometimes it is exhausting. I respond/accept some of the applications but I do have a friend who is application happy, a little overwhelming. I hope she doesn't see these, gosh, some of them I have never heard of. I like the flair and drinking request, sometimes I send a starbucks, and pretty much just stick to those. But you are so popular on facebook, I only have like 100 friends.
the ONLY thing I look at is friend requests. none of it can be seen by anyone. so its not rude to ignore. :)

All those applications make my eyes hurt! I nearly always ignore them and keep my profile super neat and simple. Maybe I'm just boring, but I really can't stand them at all!
I ignore all applications and causes......too much!!!!!
i pick and choose which application request i want to acccept.
BUT friends is different for you cuz you have a gossip site & lots of ppl want to be ur friend.

Yikes, that screenshot is my worst nightmare. I have a strict no application policy on my fb b/c I can't stand them. I have some friends that are persistent with them but most have cought on that I am not going to budge.
