Daniel Radcliffe Accepting a Painting

Daniel Radcliffe Accepting a Painting

"Harry Potter" star Daniel Radcliffe was quite gracious as he accepted the portrait of himself in honor of his performance on Broadway last night in New York. Now that there's this huge new fad with the Twilight series maybe Daniel can start getting different roles and no longer be known as Harry Potter....or the guy that got naked on stage with a horse.  :) Daniel must be so relieved!

I'm just curious if you had to pick between the two, "Harry Potter" or "Twilight", which would you choose? OOOOH that's a hard one! Truth be told, I think I'd pick Potter.

Seriously? This isn't even a contest. While the Twilight books were a fun indulgence, they can't hold a candle to the world created in HP.

Twilight, definitely!! I mean, HP is great also but too much for kids, the sexual tension in Twilight makes the difference!

The drawing looks nothing like him. And I would choose Harry any day of the week and twice on Sundays!

Definitely Harry Potter. I agree that nothing compares to the world created in those books. Not too mention that both adults and children of all ages and sexes love those books. It seems that Twilight is more for the female crowd.

I also agree that the drawing looks nothing like him.

That'd be a tough choice but I would have to go with Harry. They are so different on so many levels. The story, etc is just more developed than Twilight. Harry's not a love story.

Are you kidding?! Harry Potter HANDS DOWN! It's got a bit of everything, and a whole lot of more depth in one book versus the whole Twilight series. Twilight was fun, but just fluff.

Isn't that a Sardi's caricature? Not supposed to look exactly like them but a bit cartoonish, right? If so, quite the honor being put on the wall there.

POTTER all the way. Twilight is good, sure, I read all the books in the space of about 5 days, but i can read Potter even faster :P Besides, the main appeal with Twilight is the obscenely attractive Edward Cullen character, Potter is good because the books are epicly original, incredibly well written, and much more multi-layered.

Harry Potter is definitely well written, much better in a literal sense than Twilight, but they never really managed to suck me in like Twilight...Must be the romantic girly in me.

harry potter allllllllll the way. i read the first book in twilight, and 30 pages of the second one and couldn't do it. i felt like i was losing brain cells. my friend told me what happens in the later twilight books, and it sounds absolutely TERRIBLE. harry potter is amazing and i can read them over and over again.

HARRY POTTER
Twilights ok at first but then it just gets weird and annoying :) but that is an odd painting of him...

Most definently Harry Potter!! The books are so well written that you really can relate to some of the characters and its cool to hear or imagine them grow with each new book. And im sorry, but seriously Dolceden, but really, how do you figure that theyre just for kids, and Twilight is better because it has "sexual tension"?? Have you even read any of the Potter books?? One of the reasons why Potter was so insanely successful was because people of all ages fell for this book!!

HARRY!!! Love the imagination of the stories, and extremely well-written. It appeals to people of all different cultures, ages, and demographics. Twilight is written for love-sick 14 year old girls and no one else. Can't even compare.

DUH harry potter! the writing in twilight cannot hold a candle to JK. I mean seriously you can only use the word CHAGRIN so many times!

All Twilight IS is sexual tension. I'm for Potter all the way. In fact, why are there even comparisons? I still haven't figured that out. If Rob hadn't been in both harry potter and twilight, would people even compare the two? There's one mention of vampires in Harry Potter, and frankly, Twilight is heavy on the "tension", and light on the anything else. Very little back plot!!
