Chris Brown & Rihanna Update: Rihanna's Injuries
I'm still in shock that this even happened, but more information is coming out about the assault/domestic violence case with Chris Brown and Rihanna. Police have reportedly described Rihanna's injuries to TMZ.
...Rihanna's injuries were severe -- two 'huge contusions' which swelled up on both sides of her forehead. We're
told she also suffered 'a bloody lip and nose.'[T]he contusions 'look like an MMA fighter or something ... [It] looked like she was
growing devil's horns.'We've also heard that Rihanna may have
suffered bite wounds on one of her legs and arms, however, one source
close to the situation tells us he doubts that is the case."
Not only that, but witnesses reported to People that Rihanna and Chris were seen leaving the London hotel together around 7:30 am on Sunday, approximately six hours after the alleged assault occurred. If that's true, that makes me really scared. Hopefully everyone is staying safe.
And, in what probably feels like a minor nuisance for Chris at the moment, Wrigley gum has suspended his ads "until the matter is resolved."

off topic but why is it so important to be a leader in a relationship? women really think they have to be leaders qualified or not. you need to be a leader because you are one, not because you are a woman, black, or gay. if you are better with finances then you should take care of that in a relationship, if they are better at cooking then this is what yo have to concentrate on...but not because you are a woman. when you degrade men, you are expected to pull the weight for 2 and stop complaining how there are no good men left....

I had a feeling the reason why she chose not to attend the Grammys was not because of embarassment, or the "drama" of the situation, but because of physical injuries that were either severe, or could not be covered up and hidden away. This is nuts! I can't wait for more details to come out. She's gonna have to ditch him......sticking around to be with him could be just as bad for HER image as this incident is for HIS image. ***annie***

When I first read about this incident I thought, wow this is a horrible thing to happen to her that guy deserves to go to jail. Now I am actually really quite sad reading the details of how badly damaged her face was. It must be so hard to be away from your family and have something like this happen to you. Its even worse when you look at the archives of the pics of them together and you see that she really cared about him and he has done this disgusting thing to her.

The major "details" of this story can't possibly all be true. Everything put together sounds completely ridiculous. Why would be bite her on her LEGS? And if he did bite it's totally out of self defense. Blah, whatever. The real truth will come out some day... probably not this week. And the herpes story is down right hilarious. People will come up with anything just to entertain themselves and make a situation sound even more ridiculous. I won't believe any of this till it comes from Chris, Rihanna, and/or their reps who so far haven't said a word. Also, I want to see photos of these "horrific" wounds. If they were such horrific wounds shouldn't she be getting treated at a hospital at 7:30am instead of leaving a Hotel with Chris? (assuming that it's true). So much bs.

I have to agree with you.... None of us know the REAL story but I did see on the REAL news that she did have bad injuries. But you are also right about rumors. Ppl will write things just to get more drama started. And there is always gonna be someone that is going to see that and tell EVERYONE that those three and Beyonce has herpes. That is just crazy. Rumors almost always spread like fire, FAST!!! Until I hear somethin from those two involved or the news posts some actual pictures or their reps, I wont believe too much of the story. I do however believe that they fought and she sustained injuries but who really knows what/who started it!
WRONG, WRONG, WRONG of Chris Brown to ever abuse Rhianna. However, there is a little secret that women don't let out, that is, they provoke guys to abuse them too. They usually have grown up watching this as children and feel a 'high' from torture and abuse and hence provoke this same feeling when they reach adulthood. Typically, women like this end up with men who are the type to be provoke and lash out abusively.

I also heard that! Jay Z giving her his support specially b/c her family is far away! he walk into the hospital left a couple of hrs later and had shades on! sourses close to her comment that he was so sweet with her and that things were going to remain under wrap! if thats what she prefer, so lets not wait for any news anytime soon.

TMZ is reporting that the injuries are 'horrific' and that there ARE bite marks...
How horrid. I hope she takes time out to recover, heal her mind and have good friends surround her while Chris Brown goes to jail.

So much for the "minor bruising"...I wonder if he pistol whipped her, they had mentioned assault with a deadly weapon....why cant the truth ever just come out right away? It's so annoying...Not too be mean, but the description of "devil horns" seemed a bit too comical to me, imagining her growing devil horns on her huge forehead made me giggle & then I felt very guilty.

WOW, no matter what the severity that is just WRONG! You dont hit a woman. I cannot believe all of this. I hope the buzz about the severity of her wounds are not true and that she is goint to be okay. Poor girl. His career is going to be over... and Im sure Rihanna will become stronger from this. I have worked with a battered women's shelter. The abusers NEVER think they are doing anything wrong, and almost never change. Physical attacks by anyone in a relationship are WRONG. There is NO justification. The abuser will make up anything to justify keeping on with the hitting, belittling, rape, or whatever. He (or, rarely, she) will not change, even in court-mandated counseling. The violence will escalate, and will eventually spill over to any children. Why does she stay? He threatens to kill her, the kids, himself, the family, etc. He controls everything even down to the amount of gas in the car. She has nothing of her own. He has the money for lawyers for custody, etc. It happens in all professions, and at all levels of income. Sometimes the monetarily comfortable woman has much more to lose - going from a $300K house to a shelter with 4 bunks in a room - nothing of her own, hiding from her abuser. Please do not blame the one who is abused. Violence by someone who professes to love is horrible.
