A Newly Sober Tara Reid Talks About Rehab

A Newly Sober Tara Reid Talks About Rehab

On December 8, Tara Reid checked herself into Malibu's Promises rehab for what became a 60-day stay.  Now she is out and ready to talk (looking "relaxed, toned, and healthy") about what happened with In Touch.

'I didn't like the person I was,' she tells In Touch. 'I was sad and conflicted.'

'Some people get forced to be in rehab,' says the American Pie star. 'I went there by myself. I put myself there. It was the greatest decision I ever made.

'The hardest thing was walking through the door for the first time -
finally admitting that I had a problem. I had been in such denial.' "

Yet Tara concludes that it was ultimately worth it because "rehab saved my life."  It's good to hear that Tara is doing so much better!

Wasn't this a blind item that said she would try this stunt to get on the cover of a magazine?

yes, there is a blind regarding an actress entering rehab for publicity, I think this is not the first time Tara has entered rehab. She has done the rehab thing before, booooring Tara...... she has no career, so she might as well go to rehab.

I don't wanna hate, but i wonder for how long it will last. I think being sober after a 60 day rehab is one thing. Staying sober is the other. I don't think that a 60-day-treatment can totally heal an addiction. but time will tell. I wish her the best.

I read that rehab has a very low success rate, they always go back to the source. The addict has to want to stop, just like they choose to do drugs the first time; they have to want to choose to quit, then get help.

it's an every day job for an alcoolic to stop drinking but if she really is ready and beleive that good things will come out of it then she will succeed.

Her story is so anti climactic. Nobody cares, Tara. Sorry to say.

I'd like to understand how is it possible to become sober on those blitzkrieg rehabs. Shouldn't it take a little longer?

Sorry, but I have no sympathy for her. After that blind item reveal came out that she was the one going to rehab for a publicity stunt. She's a disgusting person insulting those who are REALLY addicted and can't afford to go to a fancy rehab centre. What a total loser.

I actually think thats a really nice picture of Tara. She looks nice there for a change. I like her, I think she is cute in the American Pie movies. Not that she is Oscar material, but I think she plays cute parts.
