That's all just a bunch of stupid rumors started by a bunch of know-it-all gossip websites. How about the fact that some of them are claiming that the argument started over HERPES? LOL. That is pathetic and ridiculous.
If she was "unconscious" than how come the person who supposedly called the police heard her screaming? Puh-lease. Unconscious people don't scream as far as I know. This is all such a retarded story and I can't wait till the real truth comes out.
Also, supposed more reputable sources are now saying that they got into an argument over a text message that Chris received from another girl who wanted to get together or something. And than it escalated to an argument over a rapper... whatever that means. We will see.

whatever they were arguing about, whoever started it or provoked it, no matter what the story is, no man should hit a woman, esp the way it seems rihanna was hit. end of story, he hit her and he needs to pay the consequences.

These people can have Chris Brown himself stand in their faces and say he did it and they still will defend him. True, there are a lot of BS stories flying around, along with a bunch of lies. Nobody knows the extent of her injuries but it is pretty clear she had some. Even Rihanna's own grandmother came out and said she was doing better. What is she doing better from if she didn't get beat up? She also clarified that her nose wasn't broken. All people care about is being entertained. They don't care how crazy or morally bankrupt these celebrities are. That's why I don't believe his career is over. Just listen to Salty and the people saying she is somehow to blame for getting a beat down. These are the kind of people this world is filled with. Sad, but true. SMDH. Sidenote: I also remember that blind item a while back about a singer abusing his girlfriend--who also happened to be a singer--, but I would have never guessed it was these two. This had to have happened before. Abuse usually doesn't start with something this big; it usually starts with a little push or slap here and there. She will more than likely go back to him. I hate to say it but most of them do.

Chris Brown was severly abused as a child, he has spoken out about this. Rhianna throwing out his keys, understandably threw him into a rage and having been abused he reacted by reverting to his toxic childhood. There is vicious abuse and then there is provoking that women do who perhaps themselves have grown up witnessing abuse. What Chris Brown needs is therapy to deal with his childhood abuse. What Rhianna ( and other divas ) need is therapy to deal with their anger management, you don't fly into a rage just because you see your man 'talking' to another woman.

I can't even imagine the kind of half a--ed therapist/ psychologist would come to the conclusion that an abusive male would need to be "provoked". Domestic abuse does not happen b/c the victim needs anger management, the fact is if someone beats someone else unconscious the abuser is SOLELY AND COMPLETELY responsible. Domestic abuse is not a psychological problem that ORIGINATES WITH THE VICTIM--it comes from the abuser. Rhianna could have knelt in front of him and begged him to beat and strangle her and if he did it he'd still be dead wrong. Any suggestion that Rhianna flew into a "rage" is unsubstantiated, the reason for the attack is not known, what is a fact is that chris brown beat his girl, strangled her till she passed out, and then abandoned her to whatever fate had in store. That is a cold, heartless, soul- less excuse for a man. Give me a break Josyane if what he did isn't considered "viscous abuse" then what is? Would he have to kill her?

There are no excuses for abuse.. bottom line. I do hope that Chris Brown seeks some form of therapy because abusive people are manipulative/liars/controlling and it's impossible to change those bad habits on one's own. Rihanna may have issues of her own to work out, but there is no such thing as provoking an abuser. She is not at fault in anyway for his attack on her, although she is partly at fault for allowing herself to be in such a dysfunctional relationship. I really hope that she doesn't go back to him, it's shocking how many women will defend the men that abuse them and go back to them in no time (one of my good friends married her abusive bf.. I'm still in shock)

As for Chris' career. This will be a little snag. Sean Penn abused his past girlfriends and his career is still just fine.

Are you serious? Do some reading on the psychology of abusive relationships and you might be able to understand that the victims and the abusers come from all walks of life, levels of success, and levels of attractiveness. Men who beat women don't make sense period. Do you really think that the police and the ER staff would go to such great lengths to support a "publicity stunt"? To arrest a man and charge him with a FELONY? Good Lord, child. For shame. Chris Brown's carrer shouldn't be in the forefront of anyone's thoughts. His carrer shouldn't be in the balance, his freedom should. He did not make a "mistake". A mistake is when you bump into someone in line at the grocery store. Wrapping your hands around a woman's neck and squeezing untill they pass out is a crime, its a felony for a reason. You need to grow a brain, Chris Brown needs to grow a SOUL.

oh wow...this is a mess...I am a die hard Rhi-Rhi fan and I can say that these two young love birds were probably violent toward each other...obviously it went from being what they thought was acceptable and cute to out of control...Again...i hope they both use their spotlight to teach young folks everywhere that expressing yourself physically is never a good idea...just because you are miserable, insecure, crazy or intimidated for the first time in your life doesn't mean that other person is the one...oh and none of these stories that are coming out seem quite right...I doubt we will ever know the full truth...but I wish them both the help and recovery that they need and then new partners....healthy relationships.

i understand Chris Brown turned himself in; so is anyone pressing charges at this point?
