Now Heigl And Knight Aren't Leaving Grey's Anatomy

I'm so confused? Why all the hoopla if these two actors have no intentions of leaving?
Grey's Anatomy creator Shonda Rhimes announced during the 40th NAACP Image Awards in Los Angeles last night that Katherine Heigl and T.R. Knight are NOT leaving the show.
"That was a very interesting rumor. And it's not true."
"That was absolutely taken out of context. Things happen, and ... I think rumors become fact very easily. And you know I don't like to tell you what's going to happen on the show – but that is a rumor.
Perhaps the two were just looking for a pay raise and held out until production came through? Either way, if you are a fan of the show, is this good news or bad news for you?

i think their colleague blabbed when he shouldn't have - or else he was put up to it by the showmakers to "persuade" this two to sign. They do seem to have a rather over-inflated idea of their talents in my opinion...

I´m really really happy that they are not leaving. It would have been a totally different show without them. So thats very good news for me.

I like Greys and their characters but they both seem so unappreciative and spoiled. Be happy you have a job people! Grey's is not going to last forever. Did you not learn anything from David Caruso years ago? I think they are both fine actors but I dont forsee them as the next Tom Cruise and Cate Blanchette-they need a reality check, they're getting too full of themselves
