Pantene Edges Toward Green With "Nature Fusion"

I love how so many cosmetic and beauty companies are now focusing their efforts on bringing us natural ingredients in their products--there's a revolution going on!! (i.e., Almay's "Pure Blends," anyone? How about Essie's new "Naturally Clean" to detox those nail beds??) So I flipped when I heard that Pantene has a whole new natural hair care line (if you're anything like me, their Pro-V products been a staple in your shower for years!)--here's what you need to know!:
That's Padma Lakshmi (host of Bravo's Top Chef), the new face of Pantene Pro-V Nature Fusion. The new collection ("Moisture Balance" & "Smooth Vitality") uses naturally-derived ingredients like avocado, ginger, aloe vera, bamboo, and grapeseed extract, but the superstar among these is the Cassia Plant, which Pantene used to make a Complex that creates a protective shield to leave your hair naturally radiant and stronger against damage.
I tried the "Moisture Balance"--I love the shampoo's clean, fresh scent, and the conditioner left my hair really shiny! The short of it is that I will be personally switching up my routine to include the new natural line--since the retail price is about the same ($3.99), it's kind of a no-brainer! Now, what about the "mostly natural" tag line, as opposed to "100% natural"? I think that regardless of this, it's a step in the right direction for drugstore brands to focus on making their products more "natural." That way, these usually high-priced items can be more accessible and affordable--which is a plus for us!

I agree. I love that companies are becoming much more aware of the problems in the world.

Hey! So true--and I think that it's most important for drugstore brands to hop on board, since those are what most of us buy! Thanks for posting :)
