Jessica Simpson Plans Clothing Line To Fit "Every Figure"

Busy, busy bee.
Besides adding bedding, luggage, lingerie and sleepwear to her branded line, Jessica Simpson has just announced she wants to create a clothing line that is able to fit "every figure". It's not all about just appealing to the junior sizes anymore for this country singer.
Jessica told In Style,
"I want to create clothes that flatter every figure. I know how a dress can make you feel so frumpy. I promise mine won't.
"I know what flatters a woman, and trust me, I've been judged a lot in my life. By now I know what works if you're curvy.
If my clothing and accessories make you feel great and let you walk proud and tall - in big, big platform shoes - then I'm happy."
She has so much creative energy, I'm just so happy she is enjoying what she is doing these days. Can't wait to see what she comes out with. But I would love to know how many hours she sleeps in a day. Looking at her schedule, I'd say it's impossible to get a full 8 in! :)

They look so freakin' adorable in that picture!
Would YOU buy clothes designed by this woman? So she knows what looks good on a curvy figure, huh? Then why doesn't she take her own advice and wear something flattering? She has a lot of nerve coming out with something like this after the recent photos of her stuffing herself into clothes that just don't fit. Instead of getting herself involved in this type of venture, she ought to concentrate on growing up, losing weight, and getting out of what appears to be a highly dysfunctional relationship with Tony Romo that brings her much more unhappiness than it does contentment.
I think she looks beautiful, and considering how succesful her previous fashion endeavours have been, it sounds like someone is a bit jealous? It's OK anon21... you can keep pretending to know everything about her personal life! Sweet sweet delusions...
Her shoe line is actually a huge success so why not clothes?

Anonymous 9:33 - LOL, I totally agree. But anyway... I don't get why she feels the need to justify her happiness to a bunch of judgmental idiots. So she wore a really ugly pair of jeans one time and got criticized by the whole world - big deal! She should just move on and be happy with herself. =^_^=

She is never even able to dress herself impressively most of the time, why would anyone, at any size be interested in her clothing line? Unless of course she priced it right... Her shoe line may be successful, but I find most of them to be quite tacky...I am not interested in anything she has to offer. Nothing against her, I just dont like her style. Even in that above pic with the strategically torn jeans & giant earrings & ugly scarves, she isnt making the casual look work at all. It just looks wrong to me.

She's stated a couple of times in interviews that the bulk of her income comes from clothing/accessory lines.. so she's doing something right. I'm not familiar with her stuff, but I wouldn't disregard it solely on the basis of being Jessica Simpson brand.
I dont think she looks bad in that pic personally, but I have to agree that a lot of her shoe line is pretty fug and most of the heels are way too high for anyone over like 5'4
Her clothes is over priced for the quality and so are the shoes! Most of the times you find them on sale because they do not sell at full price, and they also sell at places like Ross and Marshall. So big department stores are not selling her things that is why she is ventuing out into other things.
Is Tony Romo ever gonna marry this chick?

Good for her, taking all the criticism and turning it around. And I am curious to see what she comes up with.
Her line is successful, but you have to look at who's buying the crap. Her shoes are ugly and I wouldn't be caught dead in them. Sadly, the only times she looks good to me is when she's wearing jeans (and not the mom kind) and a tee - she can't dress for shit! But yeah, um, good luck to her - if people are buying it, I say expand - it's not like she's making any money on her music anymore.
The quality is also poor. Ever notice that she doesn't carry her own purse line or wear her own shoe line. Thats because she know's it poor quality.

I feel the opposite way...I wouldnt be surprised if she intentionally gained a little weight just for publicity to promote a clothing line made suitable for ALL sizes...
Will someone explain, why do people hate her? She seems really sweet.
When will people realise these celebrity "designers" (especially Jessica Simpson) have nothing to do with the clothes that have their names slapped all over it. Some kid fresh out of design school who is trying hard to knock off other designers makes the clothes and maybe, just maybe the celebrity looks at them and says yes or no.
She's getting plenty of sleep. It's not like she's actually designing any of this stuff. That takes skill and training. I am sick to death of celebrities taking credit for work they don't do. You want a fashion line, OK, just be honest about it. It's the same as all those songs she "co-wrote". That's just code for "I told a bunch of talented musicians about my last boyfriend and they wrote this album for me". Her lines may be successful, but it's not because she knows anything about fashion. It's because her people hired good designers. Her job is to stay famous long enough to get free press for the stuff she sells.
Is Daddy Joe going to talk about her "big tits" again now or did he figure out most people think it's kinda gross to talk about your daughter like that. He was remarking on her 1st boob job when he made that statement.
I am like okay now she is wanting to make full figured clothes because she got called fat? Oh ok then if nobody would have called her that would she still be making a full figured line? Huh? I doubt it. I won't buy her stuff I don't like her. And she is not all that anyway Britney looks better that her.
