Do you have any tattoos on your hands or feet? Do they hurt more than other places since there really isn't that much meat? I've always wanted to get one on my wrist but am terrified.
Then again, I've had two children....

KIND OF OFF TOPIC. Yes Lily Allen has blogged again. This time she tells the the story of the devious New York Times (TNYT) It seems that she commissioned the newspaper to do an interview, using just one photo of the inside of her house. Well that photo was sold by TNYT"S to O.K. magazine. The article that was written by O.K. magazine used a wealth of misinformation and quotes from the tabloids, that Lily Allen was not responsible for, and she also sights that other magazines namely the Sun U.K. the Mirror U.K. the Daily Mail, and so on.. only use each other for these quotes. While she did conduct a Video interview with the Guardian U.K. she did not agree to a written one (I hate Miranda Sawyer) Lily Allen has confirmed my suspicions, (yet again) that anything in the form of a written interview, up to and including Q magazine (owned by the Guardian U.K.) and News of the world (to whom she has filed a lawsuit for drug remarks) is in the business of creating slander. My point to all this is tell people to stop saying she is the one that needs to grow the F-up. Her maturity far out weighs most of the people on this page!

I have a tattoo of a stargazer lily on my wrist and another small one of my kitty on the inside of my wrist. As for Lily's tattoo, I wish she'd follow the tattoo's advice and shut up.
I've got 2 on my left wrist and almost fell asleep during both and another medium sized one on my lower back. Compaired to childbirth, they were a breeze....lol.
And Lily...there's another finger I can think of that would suit you better. Sorry luv but I think your ship has sailed.

It does not hurt period. If you can handle a scab than you can handle a wrist tattoo. It basically feels like someone is scraping a needle on your skin and creating a scab. I only have the one so I don't know whether or not it hurts more or less than other places. Supposedly the wrist is one of the most painful places to get a tattoo... but I think only people with no tolerance for pain say that. =^_^=

Tattoos hurt. It's a needle being scraped across your skin. the best way to describe it is it feels like a cat scratching you over and over. If you really want it though it's worth it and tolerable, but it still hurts like a bitch. After wards it feels like a sunburn (depending on the location) and it scabs and feels uncomfortable to touch but it's not to bad, the actual process is the worst.
Any body who says tattoos hurt is a liar or doesn't feel pain at all.

I just got my 3rd tattoo 2 weeks ago..on my inner wrist..and it was sooo much more painful than the other two (they are on both of my hips) but for me the healing period is always worse than getting the actual tattoo.. 2 weeks of after care and itching gets old .. but it's totally worth it!!!!

I have a one on the top of my foot and it hurt like hell! I have several others and can honestly say that was the only one that sucked. It was super hard to keep my leg from shaking when it was being done.
I'm with you polly! I've got one on the top of my foot and it hurt like an SOB. I have one on my spine as well, but it didn't hurt nearly as bad as the one on my foot. I've heard the top of the foot, inner bicep, and ribcage are the most painful places. But as some have stated already....it probably depends on the person. What hurts for some, won't for others.
Aw, don't say that! I already have my foot done but i'm getting my inner bicep done in June :( I know it'll hurt but i was hoping it wouldn't be on the same level as my foot

Oh trust me, getting a tattoo along your spine HURTS!! It was incredibly painful but as someone else stated above, totally worth it because it came out beautifully. The one on my wrist didn't but the one inside my wrist sure did. Also, tattoos along your ribs supposedly REALLY hurt. I really one my next one to be on one side of my torso but I know it's gonna hurt like a b*tch.

Sorry to post again but I just wanted to add something. My hubby has a bunch of tattoos as well and he said the worst one was on his stomach (around his bellybutton)...that's supposed to be pretty brutal. But I think the bottom line is everone is different. I didn't find the one on my spine at all painful.
she just looks like an idiot now copying what rihanna did, when she is always complaining about people copying her style. i hope its fake. now people will think oh she is the fatter version of rihanna instead of the fatter version of katy perry.
What the hell are you talking about? I get it why don't you? The tattoo is so fake, a photographer put it there!!! Lily Allen did not show her tattoo on her web site or her, twitter page! She didn't accuse anybody of copying her style except Katy Perry and that's true!!! But Katy Perry doesn't have as much talent. And look at a full picture of Lily Allen before you call her fat.... NO WAY you jerk!

I have a tattoo on the top of each foot. The pain isn't too bad...you could handle it! Just be sure to bring flip flops with you because you WON'T want to wear regular shoes for about a week or so. Spring is the best time to do it...so you're not wearing flip flops in the snow and you get to show off your cool tattoo all summer. Not to mention, it's a great reason to replace all of your sandals - WHOO HOO!

I have one on my ribs where there isn't a lot of meat either, and it wasn't bad at all! Like Ellie said, it just feels like a needle being dragged across your skin. The only thing I hated about getting my tattoo was the itchiness that followed - horrible!!

i have one on top of my foot and I really didn't think it hurt at all. but when it comes to scrapes and cuts I do have a higher pain tolerance.
i actually have a mustache tattoed on the inside of each index finger, the same side as lilly... finger tattoos are a different kind of hurt i think...it wasnt unbearable for me, i have a high pain tolerence...the only part that was pretty bad was right by the knuckle it was an icy sting that went down to into my bones...but i wouldnt trade my fingerstaches for anything

i have 6 tattoos. my tattoo on my foot definitely hurt worse than on the inside of my bicep...i thought it would be the opposite. my next will be on the wrist.

While I think tattoos can be nice on others I will never get one. I went through a piercing phase but that's not permanent so that's as far as I would personally go with body art.

i have one on my wrist that hurt like hell, but that's because the artist dug in as hard as possible. needless to say i will not be going back to her again. the others on my inner forearms were done by a different artist and didn't hurt as bad. i would compare it to a sunburn.
I have a tattoo on my lower back, one behind my ear, one on the back of my neck, one on my hip, and one on the top of my foot. Everyone told me that the foot tatt would hurt the most, and it didnt hurt much at all. And it's a big tattoo, covers most of my foot. I was very surprised at the pain level, I was expecting a lot worse.
I just got a tattoo on my wrist and love it. It was was first one and I really didnt know what to expect but it really wasnt bad at all.

The wrist is nothing. The upper back/spine is nothing. The collarbone is nothing. The one spot that kills though is your ribcage. I have a side piece (my entire right side) and I could barely stand the pain.

I have tattoos on both my feet and fingers and they hurt like HELL!!! the fingers more so than the foot though; since they really have to dig deep because the skin on your fingers is really thick or the tattoo will fade completely. It happened to me when i got it on my fingers the first time :( sicked major hardcore ass
