People no longer have morals. How about getting married before making babies.

Well that seems obsurd! Maybe they already are married and just didn't announce it to the world? Why is that paper so important? People need to understand morals better, they are a family and take care of each other and that little girl. Sounds like good morals to me.

Anonymousxx Anonymousxx said:

Wow, seems a lot of people had parents who didn't raise them with any morals. Amazing. Must be the trailer park/welfare folks.

marriage has nothing to do with a piece of paper! I hate when people say that! marrige is about showing the world that you are committed to one person for the rest of your life. There is nothing joyous about two people having a suedo marriage and not willing to make a public commitment to each other. I hope they wake up and get married.

ks ks said:

Oh yeah, cause there is not one married couple who can't stand each other, don't sleep together, don't speak to each other, cheat on each other, beat each other and etc.,marriage is a license that you gonna love each other and be happy forever,BS.Some people believe in marriage some don't,who are you to judge?
p.s. i am married.

Anonymous Anonymous said:

"marrige is about showing the world that you are committed to one person for the rest of your life"??? so marriage is about proving something to other people? not!

I think it's a much bigger sign of true love when people are together because they WANT to be, not because they HAVE to be.

Are you kidding? Open your eyes. The entire world is no longer following your old ideas. Get off your high horse. These two are in love and love Harlow, other than that what really matters?

what else can I say when degraded shells of human beings have hollywood trash as a moral compass

I am married but we decided that children is not for us,since when getting married is only to have children and the other war around?

I'm old-fashioned in my belief, but, I agree that folks should be married before having kids, or asap.

what does getting married have to do with morals???
do you mean, people have good morals if they abide by the 'laws' of the church, i.e. getting married first, then have sex, then have kids, etc...?
do you think the duggars have good morals by popping out 18 children, and teaching them how to live a life without work and based on donations (no offense, but that's just my opinion...) just because they are MARRIED?? do you think it's very moral to live on other peoples money???
Nicole and Joel have the money to support their family, and they have their foundation, and I think, that these two probably have better morals than the rest of you who are thinking that being married has any advantages for kids...
thinking of the number of marriages that end in divorce anyway (and the kids still turn out to be normal...) and the fact that a wedding is only one day in your life, where you spend a ridiculous amount of money on the dress or whatever but so many children are below the poverty line and are starving...
way to go, BE MORAL, have a lavish wedding, it's all about yourself, but at least you have god on your side when you're knocked up!!!
A PIECE OF PAPER DOESN'T PROVE ANYTHING!!!

Woo-hoo! Lovely, it's nice to read some good news for a change!

Congratulations to Nicoel and Joel. :)

I thought the same as another poster though, are they pregnant, or adding to their family via other means? Not that it's important, I'm just curious ....... oh alright, I'm nosey!

Anonymous Anonymous said:

I'm surprised but I can't think of another celeb couple that could handle it better than them! And they are younger than a lot of other couples with kids. Funny how Nicole is one of the most mature moms around in the celeb world but is one of the youngest.....maybe not the youngest but one of them. She does care for her child and doesn't use it for publicity, I really don't care if they get married or not. That's what's important I think.

Anonymous Anonymous said:

Marriage is not a prerequisite to being good parents. Just ask mine.

Congrats to them! Babies are wonderful!

Anonymous Anonymous said:

I couldn't be more shocked if it was Jessica Alba. Wow. That was quick.

Anonymous Anonymous said:

Congrats to them.

I think marriage is also coming into question cause Joel talks about what a Christian he is yet he is having children without being married. That could be why people are asking about it. It just seems like it would have been a logical step since he talked like he lived up to his word.

I would like to think Nicole is more mature but I don't know her and have only seen her occasionally walking around with the kid. Public and private are two different things. You only see public but I hope its in private as well.

It may sound rude but I'm hugely impressed with this family and it honestly has nothing to do with their religion or how grown up she acts. There's just nothing there to me.

If that's the case the last thing they need to let happen is sperm meet egg. Children don't fix relationships.

No, they shouldn't if that's what they believe. But, I think that peoplea are confussed because he's talked about his religion/faith. If marriage is no big deal then why not just do it? After all it is just a piece of paper-why are people so afraid of a piece of paper?

Anonymous Anonymous said:

Because it's not just a piece of paper to them afterall. If it wasn't a big deal they wouldn't have a problem with it.

Yea congrats to them! I think you all should just be happy another child is coming into this world with loving parents! YAY A BABY! Be happy for them...why sit here and say "Oh they aren't married blah blah blah...". Stop being so negative there is too much negativity in this world! I am pregnant and going to be a single mom but the baby's father and I love the baby very very much and will be great parents in our own way! I believe in God and would hope God would still love me and my child, after all he is blessing me with this miracle! So anyway, marriage does not = happiness! Love does!! So love your kids and love one another. Sheesh.

Another thing as I read more of the comments why on earth can you not be Christian and not be married??? Someone said he is Christian and has all of the faith and he is not married...I am Christian and pray to God everynight but my baby's father and I are not getting married at this time because it is not right for us at this time...but that does not at all mean we will not both be loving devoted amazing parents to our baby!

I dont think its anyone elses place but theres to say they should get married, i have 2 children and i didnt get married untill after they where born, because the time wasnt right before then. i think to go into married life not being 100% sure is worse than waiting to get married. alot of people have children out of wedlock and get married later on, or they sometimes split up before getting married, but isnt that better than dragging a child through a bitter divorce and seing their parents hate each other?

Anonymous Anonymous said:

Huh? I don't think I understood any of what you said.

anyways

Getting married is a bigger deal than bringing people into the world? What kind of sense does that make? To people whose logic is that getting married can wait till you have kids and are sure: You're not sure if you want to spend your life together and yet you have children? Guess what? You're going to be tied together for the rest of your life whether you want to be or not cause you have children. Breaking a tie is easier to do when you don't create people into it in the first place. You break up married or not and your children will still see the parents hate each other and drag each other through a mess that if not married isn't covered by law or a prenup.
