Rob Pattinson To Record An Album - Doesn't Care If You Buy It
Originally I was going to write this post about Rob Pattinson's desire to make beautiful music by working with musicians he admires....
BUT THEN I FOUND THIS TRAILER which was fan made and fantabulous!
Let's get the Pattinson quote out of the way because he really is considering making an album:
"I might make an album but not through a record company or anything. I'd like to do something independent. I don't care if people buy it or not. I'd just like to have it just for myself so I can work with good musicians and stuff."
“All my friends are musicians in London. They’re very talented. My best friend wrote one of the songs on the soundtrack with another friend of mine, this guy Marcus Foster who did Bobby Long. I went to school with Marcus. He taught me how to play guitar and stuff. He’s an amazing writer and singer and I thought to help somebody out. I’ve got nothing to lose.”
OK - now onto the trailer! Obviously the footage is not from New Moon. The fan took bits and pieces from Twilight and then added in a few shots from other films that made sense. But... I think it's great! Actually got a little excited about the second Twilight installment just by watching it.

Holly crap whom ever put this together one word GENIOUS i got so excited watching it even though i was aware it was footages from other films like you said Vera, but yeaaaah i can't wait! if this is something put together by fans out there imagine the real trailer when it hits the big screan oh0ho i just hope is a hundred times better than this!
Yeah I deffinitely would love a copy, I love all sorts of music sure... but his songs and voice and it all comming together, just gives you the perfect atmosphere to think and feel. Please push for your music on the next film... fit the first one so well.
Loved the series, and well I truly feel old now though, because it used to be 20 year olds playing the teens, and it still is. But now im 23 and I'm older than everyone in the movie, makes me feel guilty for my crushing. sniff I need a some good music to cheer me up.

As for Robert Pattinson, I feel he should be able to make that album any way he wants. He oviously is a musician and didn't want to put out an album because he was afraid that people would see him as taking advantage of his oppurtunity, or being too "disney". I think he should suppress that true side of himself. And.... obviously I will love whatever he does :)

Amazing video!! Like the other said, even though I knew some footage was from other films - I still got soooo excited! lol! I just finished reading New Moon (again) and that trailer is great!
As for the record - I agree that he should make it and I do actually believe he doesn't care if people buy it. I think he is a talented musician.

I watched this last week and it made me squee like a 12-year-old. LOL
BTW, I absolutely would buy his album, but it has nothing to do with Twilight or his (admittedly good) looks. My husband and I actually like his music. Fits well on our playlist.
WOW. That trailer was amazing!!! I seriously got so excited watching it that I had to re-watch it 5 more times lol. I can not wait for this movie to come out. I hope the real trailer will make me as excited as this one!
wow this is incredible (the trailer)! It's perfect... I would totally believe if you said it's an original one! The people from the movie should get an idea of two out of this.

Holy Crap Batman! That was so good, even knowing its fanmade I got super excited. lol And there was a moment there I had to remind myself that it WAS fanmade. lol So good! Ahh I can't wait.
As for his music, I really enjoy it. And like one of the other posters said, its not just because of Twilight and that well he's just so good looking. I actually enjoy it. lol

Ummm, WOW. I think whoever made that video should direct New Moon. SO GOOD!!! It actually made me have some hope for the next movie!!!

I would buy this album no matter what. His music is 95% of the reason that I bought the Twilight soundtrack. Another one of his friends that is super talented is Sam Bradley. Love, love all of their music. :)
I thought the fan video was really good, a little eerie actually. As for his music, I'd be willing to give it a listen.

i know, this made me more excited and anxious, to say the least. it better not be true the Edward only has two scenes in new moon though. im all about staying true to the saga, but come on, got to see him again on the big screen. hes so beautiful. and im so obsessed with all the twilight madness.

i just wanna say something about this video, i love the fact it doesnt give too much away, makes you wanna watch it ( even though it hasnt been made yet! ) thats what i hate about other trailers, they give away key lines or fabulous moments, which are never the same again, when watched firstly in the trailers! i really hope that the people who are making this film, have a look into the fan world, as they may like what they see! anyway i stress this video is so well made, damn lets hope they do an eclipse and breaking dawn!
I have seen this Promo several times, and I have to say, I got just as excited watching it now, as I did the first time for the movie. Its a great trailer, it really is. And Though I know which movies 90% of those clips came from, it doesn't take away from the trailer. I am so excited for New Moon.
AND I would so totally Buy Robs Album if he put one out. I am not going to Lie, there are some of his songs *cough* Be Your Lover, Too *cough* that I can't listen to cause, well I just don't think its that great, but I do like a lot of his songs, and I would totally buy the Album, even if there were only a handful of the songs on there that i would/could listen to. Cause he has a good voice, it just depends on if he is actually trying or not. If that makes any sense.

Regarding Rob's music, I think he's very talented and I heart his song "Never Think" that I found brilliant ! Can't wait to buy his album and I really hope he'll go on stage ;)
Rob has the sexiest voice, way beyond a 20-22 year old guy. I go into ecstasy when I hear it. It leaves me breathless. I will so buy his album, is he kidding?! He's so amazingly good!
i have seen many fan made trailers but this one's the best!!!the artist did a good jod in video editing and the music fit in well..oh! i wish i could make one that good too..lol!..
about the album, i think he should make an album.heard him sing and boy! he has a talent.well, not to mention that good looks!!seeing him is like a package deal!!hahahaha..love him..

That was amazing i've seen it sooo many times...i want to know who that guy in the trailer is!?!?!??! the good looking one?? with bella..not robert the cute young guy..he's super hot. and what clips from movies are that??? the movie looks interesting with him and the three boys! please someone tell me
i read all the twilight saga(twilight,new moon,eclipse and breaking down) and watched lots of videos that try to be new moon trailer .. but the one that you post is a very good one !! i love it ..
And talking about Rob i think that it will be really cool that him make an album and more if it¡s indie ..

W-O-W!! Who ever did this needs to be part of the film making for New Moon. That 2 min video was better than Twilight itself. It got me pumped up to see it! Nice work! And yes I do think Rob should make an album. I think it would be great. Im sure he truely doesnt care if people buy it but many people will. I know I would, he is amazing!!!
Was this Drew Berrymore's entry for the contest to direct Eclipse? LOL! Very nice btw! Love how people obsess over this series of books and create such wonderful ideas from it. I hope the next movie isn't disappointing, wait RPattz is in it with his shirt off (I hope), that could never disappoint anyone;o) Maybe we'll get a "full view" of the 6'1" babe eventually...sigh.
I can't wait until he puts an album out. I think he's just as good as a musician as an actor. His is a triple threat. He is dreamy, can act, and play that guitar for me any time. *Gushing* ; - )
