Eva Longoria Helps Fight Children's Cancer

This weekend Eva Longoria, the national spokeswoman for Contra El Cáncer, accepted a $200,000 donation from AT&T to benefit the organization’s work in improving the quality of life for Latino children with cancer and their families.

“We are extremely grateful for AT&T’s generosity and commitment to PADRES and the Latino community,” said Longoria Parker, co-star of ABC’s “Desperate Housewives” and PADRES national spokeswoman. “The money AT&T raised will help us continue supporting families coping with the devastating effects of childhood cancer.”

The donation is the result of AT&T’s third annual campaign, which consisted of a fundraising effort to increase awareness of childhood cancer and collected donations from customers at more than 130 retail stores in the Greater Los Angeles area. Customers who purchased AT&T Advanced TV and wireless services received $100 cash back and were encouraged to donate a portion of those savings to PADRES.

To date, AT&T has donated approximately $700,000 to PADRES to aid in the organization’s mission. For more information about PADRES, visit http://iamhope.org.

anyway...is a great thing what Eva is doing. Helping families whose children are affected with cancer. Is great to see her do something so positive with her life, instead of being a hate filled bitch like some women at INO tend to be. ^

It only helps Latino children? okay...um okay.

WRONG..it helps families of children struck with cancer. They don't turn away children if they're not latino. Why don't you do some research on the company...um okay.

you're wrong

no, their main focus is to teach families of latinos about cancer and help them; but they don't turn away non-latino family. ..ok. Anyway so what? what they do is important. Leave it for the bitches here at INO to dissect every little thing. I'm so sick of the women who troll this site.
