Fact Or Fiction: Is Katie Holmes On A Liquid Diet?
Normally, I'd let this story pass, since there already seems to be plenty of speculation about Katie Holmes' low weight. If there wasn't a direct quote from her. A Life & Style reporter caught up with Katie on the set of her new film, The Extra Man, and asked her about her favorite NYC restaurants.
'As you can see,' Katie said, holding up a drink, 'I'm on my liquid diet right now.' "
Maybe it was a joke. Maybe it was just an unfortunate choice of words, given the speculation that Katie is on some type of "Scientology-dictated detox diet known as a purification rundown."
Although the cast filmed in a restaurant for five hours, Katie reportedly never ate.
'I was shocked at how skinny she was,' Bodoy [restaurant manager] tells Life & Style. 'During the entire time she was here, I did not see her eat anything --
not a morsel. After five or so hours, I would have been famished!' "
To be fair, this restaurant is described as a "neighborhood burger joint," so I suspect many actors wouldn't eat there.
What do you think: does Katie really look thin enough to be on a liquid diet or do you think this was some type of off-hand remark? (And remember, most actors are pretty thin!)

Uhhhh, she has the right to put whatever she wants into HER body! Wow. People will stick their nose into everybody's business no matter how private. Did they monitor how many times she went to the bathroom as well? =^_^=

Well, 5 hours isn't a long time without food. Plus, skinny gals generally don't eat burgers and shakes! what did they expect?
Liquid diets aren't all bad anyway.

She was really thin when she was on Dawson's Creek...clearly she was born with the skinny gene!
SHE IS F'ING WITH YOU!! This woman is not stupid. She was graduated from high school with a 4.0 GPA (at a school where it still means something) and was accepted at Columbia University.
She is not that thin...I think she looks great. Love her!
Didn't she say in an interview that she doesn't pay attention to what is reported about her? That the best way to deal with the tabloid fodder is to live her life and be the best she can be? She is just messing with everyone... she's a mother of an almost 3 year old that keeps her busy on top of her career, which she is going from one project to another with hardly a break in between... that would make anyone look tired and worn out... Give the woman a break.. she is so sweet and I've loved her since she was on Dawson's Creek! She seems down to earth and doesn't deserve the hell that the paparrazzi is putting her through! So what if she married a man that is twice her age, everyone is just jealous! None of us got to marry the movie star we had crushes on growing up... she makes me think that Johnny Depp is going to realize he is in love with me and show up at my door (to my hubby's dismay!)

She hasn't been looking extra thin at all lately. She has been looking great and healthy.
we have Life and Style,Daily Mail trash so what's next here? National Enquirer? just because news is low does not mean trash should fill up the spaces here.
Why will Katie talk to a gossip reporter or paparazzi? I saw on youtube many reporters and paparazzis hounding her at the airport and restaurant even asking her about her reaction to Christian Bale going psycho and she's smart just to ignore them.
She's a sweetheart and looks great. I agree not buying the usual rags.
So the fact that her and Tom worship the Starship Enterprise with their Scientology insn't enough to talk about? I guess not if they have been monitoring how much e-liquid she's been consuming. Sheesh...
